You’re a lot leaner than the first video I saw of you with the slow carb diet. What type of beans, veggies and proteins do you typically consume?

Thanks bro! Definitely been a process. I found that most type of beans work but personally I like pinto beans and red beans. Veggies can also be anything but I stick to greens . My go tos are broccoli and green beans . As far as protein, I started off with the my slow carb diet earlier this year eating Chicken breast/thighs/legs , steak, ground turkey, beef, and salmon. I recently started training for a marathon so I slowly introduced white carbs like rice and potatoes back into my diet because I need the carbs to run efficiently. I also am sticking to leaner choices of meats now so I am eating all the proteins I named earlier besides chicken thighs and legs. Sticking to chicken breasts. Let me know if this helped.

@@ChiOriji helped a WHOLE BUNCH! Thanks! I’ve been looking in the mirror this morning, taking a long look at myself as I start this new journey. I did a 40-day water fast last year and I’m embarking on another fast this month. This time though, I’m probably going to do rolling 72 hour fasts or fast this week alone to stabilize my blood glucose before going into the slow carb method. As a keto/carnivore guy, it feels weird thinking about reintroducing carbs intentionally, but then I thought to myself, I take them in every time I cheat……these wrong ones. Whatever I do, I’m finally committed again to getting my body and health in order.

@@RobTheSuavelove this bro! Takes a certain level of discipline to just be aware of what we are consuming. At the end of the day I feel like all we can do is listen to our bodies and be mindful as we eat specific foods or refrain from certain foods and see how it reacts. Then we can find that thing that works for us individually and is sustainable long term. Keep going king, definitely want to hear more about your progress as you go 💪🏾
