What disturbs me about all those expensive dishes is that they're not an expensive Mac 'N' Cheese, or an expensive omelette or an expensive burger. The problem is that you're treating a dish as it's ingredients instead of as a dish. Mac and cheese is a dish, not solely the macaroni and cheese. Even at that point, you've have to call any milk or butter or seasoning as not part of the mac and cheese.
