If you are going to ask a new female out that you are chatting to, it's best for a guy to say, "I really enjoyed talking to you. MAYBE we could meet for a coffee after work/sometime soon or a drink one night?"......... STOP TALKING. WAIT & Watch her reaction......... Don't ask her WHEN can we meet for coffee....That ASSUMES that she wants to go out with you (very cocky/not attractive) & you didn't even ASK or KNOW if she even wanted to go in the first place. Asking WHEN makes a woman more uncomfortable than asking, "MAYBE we could meet fior coffee or a drink sometime."............SUGGEST GOING OUT FOR COFFEE OR A DRINK. Some guys are there that you hit it off with talking about cars, a car club, mountain climbing, etc....... You wouldn't ask a guy that you just met under these circumstances: When do you want grab a drink, or When can we meet again......You would come up with a suggestion: My car club meets every Thursday night. MAYBE you might like to meet up there. You wouldn't immediately say, "When do you want to come to our Thursday car meeting?"....Asking "WHEN" is presumptive & PUTS PEOPLE ON THE SPOT & UNCOMFORTABLE!.... Suggesting "MAYBE" sounds like a suggestion and not presumptive!

@@gabrielj.wheaton8081I like that.....or "maybe maybe we should get together sometime" or "If you would like to, maybe we should get together for dinner one night (or a drink or coffee or whatever )....Keep the first meeting/date simple so if either is uncomfortable, it's an easy exit for both people....If you do bring up "let's get together etc." or however you word it, immediately follow up with your intentions: "I'll call you next week or I'll call you in a few days, etc, THEN DO IT.......Btw, phone calls show much more interest than texting..... :-)

I've already trusted you by having a great and meaningful conversation, so there's potential for both of us. If he says what you said, it's a CLEAR sign for me that he's interested and that will help me either say "yes, sure". If the answer is "evasive", no need to keep moving forward with pursuing her, she's either not interested or playing mind-games... so unless you like the latter type of women, you'd be dodging a bullet.

Advice: If you don't have time for her, then leave her alone & forget about asking her for a date. Just continue talking like you are. The worst thing you can do is ask her out then cancel because of some obligation that came up that you knew about already. No female wants to be squeezed into someone's busyschedule or put "on hold". A female wants someone who has time for her, someone who wants to spend time with her and isn't going to put her on the back burner and then you resurface when it is convenient for you. That will never work..... Turn it around and put yourself in her situation.
