From a woman’s perspective, no contact works every time. No matter who dumped who. I recently did it unintentionally to move on and heal but it was NOT to try to get him back first. My attraction for him didn’t change at all. Usually attraction is never the root issue for the breakup. However, If you want to get an ex back, you have to understand why you two broke up, consciously work on starting a NEW relationship (because the last one was a flop) with each other, so you don’t breakup again. If that’s not the goal, use no contact to move on and find someone new and don’t care if she comes back or not.

It USUALLY makes the other person comes back but that's not REALLY the point of it - the point of it is for your OWN mental healthy and happiness. This used to be called the 3 month rule. Before cell phones I messed up w/a girl. I got jealous & told her I never wanted to see her again. Broke her heart then regretted it. So true. I'm on day 58 and I'm really feeling better about myself and not thinking about my ex anymore in a painful way. We were together 4 years and she left me for our neighbor and moved in with him after 2 months. That'll probably crash and burn because she didn't take time for herself and self reflect. I've had time to heal and self reflect and I feel great being single and it's fun to have these other women flirt and have fun with me. Underclass H3r0 Had a similar situation. With GF for 3 years then caught her texting and meeting up with another guy. Within a few days of moving out, she already had him over. It truly demonstrates the character of the person and how thankful we should be that it happened prior to marriage or children. My advice would be to stop counting the days and to stay off these videos if they become a habit for you. I’m in month 4 and I still long for her at times, but I’m much better off now

I need some advice, so let me explain, its been 19 weeks since me and my ex went separate ways, i was depressed was really sad and missed her everyday. At new years eve i texted her happy new year and she responded happy new year to u too. That was the first time i contacted her again after we broke up i think that was 4 months after, in januari i asked her a question because i got so jealous and was so scared that she found a new bf, i know its dumb but anyway i asked her if she had a new bf and then she answered like why would that matter and so on. And then she blocked me because she said she just wanna forget everything and move on, so last thursday more than 2 months after that block and no contact she texted me and said sorry for last time and her intention was not to be rude since i’ve always been nice to her, anyway so we have been talking like almost every night and so on, and i've asked questions like why does she wanna be a part of my life and stuff, so basically she says she misses me and misses us together and wants us basically to get back together, and yes she has apologized and stuff, and she says she enjoys spending time with me and that she has very much feelings for me, but anyway when im talking to her sometimes it feels like she just misses me but that its just for now and maybe that's just the reason why she's back just because she misses me for now, im starting doubting if her feelings are real and that im just a safe card for her just because she missed me, i've told her that its hard for me to open up to her again and she says she doesnt expect anything from me, the point i guess is that im doubting if she is really here to stay, she says she is but sometimes it doesnt feel right i dont know what to do, thanks for reading advice would be nice

Easy quit acting like you are in love. If you are in love with her, then just know that you do but keep it to yourself forever, just enjoy moments here and there with her and focus on yourself. You are the priority not her. Don’t ever tell her you love her, because she doesn’t deserve that, you think she hasn’t been getting dicked down by other guys in the months you haven’t been with her. Yes it will still work essentially. He will begin to notice your absence and that your not coming back to him, this will make him miss you, think about you and become curious about you. However after a while (6 weeks at least for the fading effect bias to work), you may have to reach out to him if you have moved countries, as men are more logical creatures and he may become deterred by the fact that your a long way away and he wont really be able to see you
