This is the comparison of 3 guitar micro amplifiers, powered by 9V battery.
- Orange Micro Crush (OLD), 4" speaker, 3W
- Orange Crush Mini (NEW), 4" speaker, 3W
- Danelectro N10 HoneyTone, 2.5" speaker, 1.5W

The HoneyTone's 2.5" speaker, is better for some notes, but other notes, the distortion is too much for it. I like the HoneyTone though. :)

I have to say to me the old and new orange sound close to each other but I think the old is better. The honey tone isn't even in the running in my opinion which doesn't matter much because after a couple days weeks months it isn't going to work anyhow.

I have the honeytone for over 10 years and it's still working fine. But I also liked the tone of the old orange better

Sorry, don't know, I didn't try standard Shure with them and I can't check, cause I sold both Orange amps.

@@BKBees I set Shure SM57 5cm close to the speaker amp on the stand, plugged to the external audio interface of the computer.

Niiiiiiice video! Big difference between new n old oranges .. New is better? The Danelectro N 10 Honey Tone has the best fat tone, crunch, & break up in my opinion.. even though it's smaller overall And we all have opinions lol👍🎵🎶😎
