Hi I am Filipina live in Cagayan de Oro. I joined dating sites 2 years ago. I talked to a lot of man getting to know them. Some are rude, some are scammers, some make promises that they will come, some are not serious. I met this one particular guy. I talked to him for 2 months then he said he would come so I was like yeah. Till one day he flew over met him in Laguindingan Airport at that time he met my family spend time with him for two weeks. We just celebrating our first year engagement anniversary. 👋🙂

I recently read on a headstone titled FIVE RULES FOR MEN TO FOLLOW FOR A HAPPY LIFE! 1 it’s important to have a woman who helps at home, cooks from time to time, cleans up and has a job 2 it’s important to have a woman who can make you laugh 3 it’s important to have a woman who you can trust and doesn’t lie to you. 4 it’s important to have a woman who is good in bed and likes to be with you 5 it’s very very important that these four women do not know each other or you could end up dead like me.

Tim, everything you listed was on point. I spent 6 months my first visit to the Philippines. I met alot of nice filipina's. But the key is take your time. I finally found the right woman, we dated for a year and now we have been married 15 years with two kids. She came to the US on a K-1 Visa. Best decision I have ever made.

As a Filipina, it's painful to read comments about their perspective to us. However I do understand that some Filipina are really taking advantage specially with foreigners. But I hope that will change, and not all Filipinas are like that. Personally I'll be more contented marrying someone who really loves me instead of marrying a rich man and will just abuse me later on. Thanks for the video Tim! I'm a new subscriber.

I agree with all of what Tim says. I dated a number of Filipinas, found one that was a good fit, and eventually brought her to the US on a fiance visa. I was able to travel to the Philippines every 3 months and stay for about 16 days each visit so my wife and I dated long distance for two years. We are very happy. I cannot say enough good things about having a Filipina wife. We now spend the winters in the Philippines and the other seasons in the US. In addition to what Tim said about taking your time, dating a number of women and not giving in to requests for money until you meet them, expect to help her family out financially when your relationship becomes serious. It’s part of the culture, however, you are the head of the house. You are in charge. That’s part of the culture too. Feel free to say no to unreasonable/questionable requests. With regard to how much you give, set boundaries you find comfortable. You do not have to respond to every request and you can limit the amount you give.

I have been to the Philippines ones last year on my birthday and meet the woman I am currently engaged to. I had known her for 8 months before the engagement and we are getting married this October, but with the virus that is going on now we are just looking to see if things are going to get better and we will decide whether we keep it. Everything is already paid for and I love her very much. Interesting video Tim. You hit on an interesting dilemma. You mentioned a number of times that you sent money twice earlier on in your relationship. You also said that you did it for the sake of your relationship, meaning that if you hadn't done that retrospectively, then there may not have been a future relationship. Guys need to know when dating a Filipina that money or lack of it is a major stumbling block at some point. It is possible that the Filipina may be asking for money to see if the guy is financially worthy, as most will be expecting long term financial support, not just for her but for her family too.
@michaelmarozzi55634 жыл бұрын
Great advice Tim! You need to know the family and observe how your girl interacts with them. You need to stay long term or live in the Phils to truly understand your girl and the Filipino culture. I have know my filipina fiance for 10 years now and she has never changed. Never asked for money, great family, kind, compassionate, God loving, mature, smart, and beautiful inside and out! We recently had a baby girl together. Waiting to bring her home to the USA,

I went back a few months later and ended up staying 8 months and eventually married her there then petitioned her back to the US. Living in the US now we are planning to move back in a couple of years. We have been married now 14 years. Hope you're still there so we can get together. By the way...we are connected on Instagram. If you have had girlfriends in the USA then dating there is easy, you just have to go there and spend time like he said and don't send money. I don't agree with the last thing he said as far as speaking English that point makes a little as far as communication but has absolutely nothing to do with how she will treat you..

Hi Tim and Krissy, I really feel that that most Filipina women have pure intentions and really looking for love. Just as most foreigners have pure intentions and looking for love. It is just important to look for all signs that you are not being scammed. However, there are those men that have a negative view of all Filipina women and that is so incredibly sad because they are going to miss a chance to have a relationship with the most beautiful and loving women in the world.

Whoopsie! I understand your point on intelligence and foreign language. But seems like a can of worms lol. I think most filipinas are intelligent and want to work but lack of opportunities in the islands sets them back. I definitely see a difference in women from my last time over there. But I chalk that up to the Internet, cell phones, and the city girls. I would definitely seek a relationship from a province woman that is faith based.

Great advice for every single guy in every country.

Here’s my one cent: 1. Your 1 - 3 applies to men also of any nationality. So be careful of men with the same circumstances 2. Ask the barangay officials if the land where that shed is constructed belongs to the government, meaning part of shoreline, then that american guy does not own the seashore and he has no right putting that shed up for his exclusive use. All seashores belong to the government under the authority of Environmental Management Bureau/DENR

I did what you said and lived there for 6 mo., nice people and beautiful place. But way too humid hot, no Amazon for health supplements , ect., and the famous Filipino response even if signs all over store showing a product is" sorry out of stock". Is why I don't live there. Also make sure the girl is a hard worker and not married to social media.

We only have social distancing here, sun is shining and the temperatures are good. Finding work is tough though
