#1: Eat a protein and fat heavy breakfast. Like omletes and avocado. #2: Take cold showers. #3: Do creative work, not hard work. Hard work doesn't require much thought and can be technical. On the contrary, creative work doesn't have strict rules, is up to you and requires writing, journaling, making goals, planning schedules, and problem solving. It's difficult to do creative work at night because your willpower is at its highest in the morning.

your solution for upper problem is 1. stop using electronic devices i.e phone, laptop,t.v etc 45 minutes before your sleep time. 2. if you use laptop or computer before sleep download extension FLUX it helps with screen brightness VERY EFFECTIVE. 3. stop thinking of anything before sleep ( meditation for 10 minutes will help). sleep is a process of brain we have to take care of it like baby , so dont just rush to bed and try to sleep have a routine before sleep like brushing teeth, reading ,meditation and dim the lights it will help the same way flux will help you in compueter. hope this will help would you like to sign up using the link i have provided you it will give me bitcoins if someone sign up from that and it would be lovely if you forward the link . thanks for reading!

My Routine goes like this: 1. get up immediately when the alarm rings - go in the kitchen drink a big glass of water 2. do some heavy breathing and yoga poses ( and meditation when i feel like it ) 3. cold shower !! ( life changer ) 4. eat a nutritious breakfast ( mostly oatmeal with fruits, seed, nuts etc.) BOOM - you already won the day and all that takes like under an hour, when I got more time I sometimes include reading or playing guitar to get creative.

#3 is key. I take care of things in the morning that are either undesirable and/or most difficult to solve..when I'm fresh, rested, and have a clear mind. Builds momentum for the day.

1) Have been eating protein rich breakfasts since I was young (I'm 38 now). 2) I've been taking cold showers nearly every morning for the past 2 years. 3) I've been a graphic designer for the past 14 years, so I'm creative nearly every day. I still constantly feel like a loser, with no motivation, especially today. So, can't really say any of this works. Not for ME at least...

My routine based on your videos look like this: Meditate 15min, Working out for 20min and taking a cold shower. I would like to know if it is better to avoid breakfast or taking that one with high fat and protein in it. Thanks for an answer in advance

I love the "English Breakfast", which commonly is bacon and eggs with some garlic and onion and some wholegrain-oats porridge. Simple. Quite effectively a "peasant's or farmer's breakfast". But I've seen how long it keeps me going and it's amazing! People seriously look at me in disbelief when I say I can go for 5-6 hours on that before I really need another meal.

I disagree about the breakfast thing. I nearly always eat high carb breakfasts, and they stick with me longer. However I tend to stick to oatmeal, sweet potatoes with cinnamon, big fruit smoothies, etc. And when I get hungry later o have a snack. It works great

Willpower isn't a finite resource. In Improvement Pill's more recent videos, he talks about how willpower can be used throughout the day without being depleted. For example let's say you've said to yourself in the morning that you will work on that side hustle after work. You come back from work and feel exhausted. What do you do? If you take time to unwind, say take a shower and eat, you've changed your mood and now you're more likely to hustle. Further reading "Focused and Diffused Thinking" and "Thinking, fast and slow".

Many of those KZbin guys who advocate for cold showers live somewhere like So Cal or Florida, where the "cold" water comes out of the tap at around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I live in Northern Indiana. During the winter, the cold water that comes out of the shower head during the winter months is the 32 degree barely-above freezing water that's in Lake Michigan. It's water that's so cold that you could get an ice cream headache if you drink it too fast. I can last about a minute and a half in a 32 degree water shower before I warm the water up. It's gives a better energy shot in the morning than a Monster energy drink or coffee

So what do you consider "a cold shower"? Because slightly cold, cold, and frigid cold are all VASTLY different in terms of uncomfortableness and also the duration of standing in it. Straight cold water all the way through? Or 60 secs at the end of a hot shower on moderate temperature? Resources are all over the place with this

Well Tony Robbins (the guy he talked about) has something like a small hole in his garden which is filled with water (like a very very small pool) with a ladder on one side. He jumps in there and climbs out after a few seconds. As this is outside I guess the water must be really cold most days. Hope that helped you a little bit. :)

Hi. How are you doing? Thanks for another thought provoking video. Would you consider doing massage therapy every day to be under the heading of doing creative work, because that is what I do for a living. I also listen to Audio Books, as well as books on my kindle fire using the text to speech feature. I will have to see if the books that are on your reading list come in an audio format. I am legally blind, so that will allow me to read them in a much faster way.

What do you think of guys who have long hair? Should they cut it, does it give off different vibes, seem less masculine, etc?

If you see a man with long hair, reward him with some pretty nice metal music. Usually they like it

Duuuude. I got hair to my nips, so past my shoulders. Get your mindset out of what’s masculine/feminine. I got called cute by two people handing out SGA flyers the other day. Last week, a girl was trying to take me out to Denny’s after the bar. Before that, I got complimented on my hair three times within a period of 30 minutes, walking to get pizza. All by beautiful city girls. I never got so much attention of everyone in general. Since I had a short comb-over hair style, maybe it’s once you pass that awkward phase where your hairs not long enough to all go back, but I wear and style mine like women do and haven’t gotten so much attention before.

Awesome video, but the only thing I disagree with is the diet choice. Processed meat is a type 1 Carcinogen and red meat is a type 2 Carcinogen, also eggs have high amounts of cholesterol and saturated fat, which is linked to heart disease. I recommend checking out a whole foods plant-based diet.

Improvement pill, I got accepted after an interview for a door to door salesman. As I am a big fan of you and I am aware that yourself was a saleman, could I ask for any advice?
