I don't know what I'm more impressed by this awesome conversion or the couple who did it. They are both intelligent, articulate and courteous of one another. Each allows the other to speak and never talks over them. I hope I can find someone I gel along that well with some day. VERY well thought-out design throughout. I especially like the decision not to place upper cabinets. It really does help to give the appearance of a larger space. Bravo to both of them!

This is the best Bus build I have seen on the "Whole Internet Platform" and if you wanna know my opinion on Why?....just read my long comment and see why I rate this Bus as 'Number 1" that I have ever seen and I am a binge internet / KZbin and Tiny Home Video watcher and Tiny Home Owner. First of all, I give this couple a big thumbs up for atleast having their rig under a pavilion and having Cool Seal Paint on their roof. The Sun can affect it even in the Winter. He is also definitely right about painting in the Alabama heat. Most paint and body shops in Alabama paint any vehicles inside their shops in a climate controlled / air flow, in what they call a "Paint Booth". It basically looks like a white tent set up inside a garage so no dust or debris can blow onto the Vehicle as it is being painted. It's crazy how bad our heat affects everything in Alabama. The Alabama Summer Sun destroyed a Bumper Pull RV we had in about 3 or 4 years. Just having it parked and set up by the river that long made everything Sun damaged and it felt dry rotted. Like anything plastic like back up lights, trim around the edges and windows just crumbled. Which in turn eventually made that RV basically shrink up and start leaking in areas and then when it rained it came in and just started making everything start to mold. The RV's they sell now for all that money are not waterproof at all. The ONLY waterproof RV's are the Airstreams and the Little Fiberglass ones called "Scamps", "Escapes",and "Casitas", that look like two Eggs put together with a plastic strip on the side sealing it together. But you still have to keep a watch on the plastic fans they put in the roofs and the plastic seal around the side and sometimes they put a hole in the roof for a wood burning stove. So really Airstreams are the ONLY Waterproof RV's. This couple is so smart going with a Bus and the idea of running the fans out the side of the bus is genius. He really could design some great builds with great long lasting ideas that are waterproof to your tiny home or bus. I absolutely applaud this couple for all of their ideas on this and it was their first time. Just imagine if they did it for a living now that they know the process. I recommend this Bus as Number 1 that I have seen so far on the whole internet platform so far. And this whole video explains why. They are really kick ass in this build. Keep on Tiny Homing!!!!!!!!!!!

Your husband is so hilarious through this whole build... I just imagine the movie Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner... If she ask for it he will build it... This was one of the longest videos I watched on tiny homes and worth every minute... As I was watching I kept saying I don’t know who is the rock star in this relationship but you guys are both freakin geniuses.... This is the best tiny home I have seen the way you guys have nailed it down to build it where it will stay and everything is bolted down where it is not moving and the fact that you took things from thrift stores and anywhere you can and made use of it it super awesome... The only thing that I did not like is that you guys need to do this as a profession... I know your husband works on standard homes and not this whole tiny home on wheels thing but what you guys have created in that space I wish I could hire you guys for when I find a vehicle to build my tiny home you guys would be first ones I would call to build mind.... I love the thought process and that you guys had done the camper van so you knew exactly what you wanted and did not want.... You all have given me so many ideas to think about when I build mine... I love the Murphy bed idea... I love the curtain idea in the back and all the windows that were saved in this build... Your home is so beautiful and inviting...

I have been contemplating a bus build, for some time, and love what you have done. The reason why you breaker trips on the switch over is because of one power supply is out of phase with the other. When it switches, it looks like a short circuit for a few seconds. The only way to fix it is with a syncing board that may or may not be installed in your inverter / charger. That would match the phase angle and let you switch back and forth. If it doesn't support syncing, you can open the the load breaker for a few seconds and make the power swap and then turn it back on.

@malazkm4 жыл бұрын
@@user-pt1cz4ot1e it is common sense. You complained about the length, yet the video states about it being detailed. If you did not like it, there are other bus conversion videos out there to watch. malazkm 2010 maybe not look foolish telling people not to be entitled to state what they think. Remember, you’re on my comment. I didn’t come to you with my grievance. Also, “detailed” would seem like you were getting thorough information about a build, including aesthetics and thought process. This is mostly anecdotal. That isn’t detail. Maybe, since I’m building a skoolie this spring, the details are extremely important to me. Most of this could have been edited out, and you would have the same amount of information. Could not care less if you come here with trying to insult because I stated my opinion, which is what the comment section is for. I’m autistic and am detail oriented. Can’t help if you’re not.

Wow! I've seen so many skoolies but yours is amazing! I love the "wall"! Everything is beautiful. Y'all planned for purpose and looks. It's so light and breezy looking. Nice bathroom. The king size bed is ingenious. Adding the ladder to the roof is great. The deck is great. I love the diffuser "house" . I really like the big bathroom with the great shower. Great storage everywhere. I wouldn't change a thing. I love watching your banter. " her windows" "his plumbing"...,too cute.

What a great and comprehensive walk thru of such an extensive build. On several occasions you mentioned taking a couple days to figure out exactly how to solve the rubics cube of a problem or the reworking of your first or second solution and for documenting this people are complaining about the length of this video, give me (or you guys a brake). Take a couple days, chill a little bite, show that your resourceful enough to use a pause button and enjoy the knowledge, hard work and experience while watch this video. To much for your busy lives, quit dreaming of a day that will most likely never come to you as a project like this takes a little more than an hour and a half commitment. As far as the relationship skills you have demonstrated in completing this project could be used as role model to how to grow old together. Love to your mobile family. Hope to see you on the road.

The Murphy Beds are amazing! And I agree - covering any of the windows is not good. I think you should market the murphy bed idea. Million Dollar Idea!
