I can't begin to explain how much these have helped me (and will continue to do so in the future). To see all 15 books that I've recommended on this playlist, click here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pmzUhQJHtXIXvgBfMa0Is2mc71TaXAauZ-yJwBjzVLw/edit?usp=sharing Please note: if you purchase a book via the links below, I will receive 1-5% kickback on the cost of the book itself Every penny of the commissions earned gets reinvested back into the library, helping it to grow further, allowing more teaching to happen I have also provided by the book titles and authors so you can directly paste this into Amazon instead if you wish (or alternative site) I am more interested in you buying the books! Please buy them and learn from them and any support for my library building project would be a lovely little bonus Romancing the Shadow: Illuminating the Dark Side of the Soul, by Connie Zweig and Steve Wolf amzn.to/49VIZj6 The Primal Wound, by John Firman and Ann Gila amzn.to/3PgqjBi Toward a Psychology of Being, by Abraham Maslow amzn.to/4iZ8jJ9

Hello Mr Clark! I must say this was a valuable video for me. I am a 25M. I have, since the first of january, been reviewing my days out loud before going to bed. Asking myself why I acted the way I did, what processes were at play (conscious or unconscious), what they mean about me and my own beliefs about myself, and what I could do to rectify those beliefs to change my actions. Brutal process I must say, but a necessary one. I think these three books could help me navigate these questions better. And you as well. Newly subscribed and looking forward for more :)

Fantastic idea - great to hear you're being so proactive about it. Romancing the Shadow would likely be your best starting point out of those 3 are there are questions directly stated in there that you can begin to use. It sounds very much like an ancient stoic practice that some of the good Roman emperors used to use. I'll be making videos on this in the future and I've got one already prepared for tomorrow (10th) around the idea of having a maxim/rule on hand to be able to assist with making decisions. Hope it'll be useful for you
