What can the preposition "as" be at the beginning of the sentence? Is it a main clause? As the first transgender volunteer in the Israeli Police, activist Efrat Tilma answers emergency calls and works to improve the relationship between police forces and the community. 2: As the civil war in Yemen has grown more violent this year, lawyer Maeen Al-Obaidi continues to be focused on peace building in the besieged city of Taiz.

Jennifer, I enjoyed the video. It was wonderful to see you demonstrate that it doesn't matter where we're from, we can learn English and become fluent if we continue to study. I agree with the teachers that you don't have to live in an English-speaking country to be fluent. As some of the examples the teachers gave, practicing English regularly, having contact with English, and creating an environment for frequent practice is the best thing to do. I agree with Nathaly when she said, "Who is a native English speaker nowadays?" With so many places in the world speaking English, this language belongs to everyone who can communicate using it. I discovered English when I was 11 years old, have been teaching it for over 15 years, and even started a KZbin channel because of my passion for this wonderful language. Thanks a buch for the video
