My food adventures in my hometown of Miami with my friends Jason and Candice continued with some amazing BBQ!
We’d be eating at BBQ & Craft Company in Brickell. It’s a blend of different barbecue styles, so I couldn’t wait! Inside, it’s a large, spacious, modern space with lots of tables and a bar.

We met the owner, Anthony Nicolosi, who was putting some hickory wood in the smoker. He showed me their dinosaur beef ribs, which are massive and are smoked for 7 hours. The bones slide out so clean and the meat is super moist!
They top the ribs with salt, pepper, and their special rub. The meat was like butter! It went down so easily! Then, we saw the brisket, which is from the beef chest. The crust on the outside was unreal, and I loved the fatty later as well.
Then, they started cooking a pork chop and a 16-oz. New York strip. Next, they took me over to the bar to check out the beers. They have lots of local beers!
The 4/20 beer contains some THC and was light on the hops. Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, they added butter and thyme to the smoked brisket. We also saw their full, 8-foot-long alligator marinating in a brine for tomorrow!
At our table, we had the dry rub wings, dinosaur beef ribs, New York strip, pork chop, crispy St. Louis ribs, deviled eggs, mac & cheese, fingerling potatoes, and heirloom carrots.
The wings came with an Alabama white sauce. They had a smoky flavor and a nice crust on the outside. The crispy St. Louis ribs were caramelized and so tender, they fell apart. The sauce was incredible!
The deviled eggs contained some sauce and chicharron, and were super creamy. The crunch of the chicharron added an amazing texture. They were like barbecued deviled eggs!
I loved the dinosaur beef ribs were unreal, while the mac & cheese had crispy cornbread crumbs on top and four cheeses. It was so creamy!
Mixing the mac with the beef ribs blew my mind! Then, we jumped on the fingerling potatoes, which were really nice. Then I enjoyed a Robust Porter from Wynwood Brewing and the roasted heirloom carrots.
The brisket was super tender! The pork chop with apple chutney was a winning combination. The crust on it was excellent, and it was moist on the inside, and the New York strip was fatty and moist. I loved the chimichurri!
Then, they brought us a chocolate pecan pie and a Nutella banana pudding. The pie was decadent and very sweet, while the Nutella banana pudding was very rich and flavorful!
We finished with some salt caramel whiskey, which had a bit of butterscotch flavor and would have worked well in a dessert!
