This is definitely the best barbecue feast I have ever seen! Their mac and cheese and cornbread look appealing too! I'm glad to know about History of BBQ, the first owner is very knowledgeable! His life story is very inspiring. From the bottom of the valley to the top of the mountain, he not only overcame the disease, but also overcame the difficult environment! David knows a lot about food and eating, he is the best gourmet I have ever seen! You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍😍👏 P. S. Sorry, my English is not perfect.

This recorded before or after Chris got locked in Trinidad 😂 The owner of the first restaurant is a real legend, inspirational and living the dream with a big smile after his leukemia. Good to see him driven like this really a motivation and inspiration to many.
@jamesderouensr.1494 ай бұрын
Obviously before.😂 Chris has been in Trinidad for almost 2 months and won't be leaving for at least another few days to a week. He gets his passport back some time next week. You don't watch Chris channel? He did a live this morning talking about still being there but finally being able to leave but he has to wait until after the weekend to get his passport back. Dave always films his videos like a month or more ahead of time he says it all the time like a lot of KZbinrs. Chris is one of the few that post his videos within a few days of recording

As a Puerto Rican with partial Taino roots, like most of us islanders, I appreciated a whole lot the reference to the original word, ¨Barabicu¨ or in some Arawakan dialects ¨barabocoa¨, which the Spanish understood as barbacoa, given that most people dont know this and actually react in disbilief when I tell them. I live in Spain and both Spaniards and Argentineans did not believe me until I pulled out the anthropological references of several academis that had researched the topic. It is great to see it acknowledged in channels like this and that such high brow references are made on them. Gracias papo!

Food looks amazing but I must say I was kind of taken back by the amount of grease that was piled up on the flat top and how dirty the oil in the fryer looked. Also when I noticed NO ONE in the kitchen had hair nets on. Btw the Mac and cheese had way too much water added before mixing. But this is just the things I’ve noticed while watching..
