Not to mention Paul is likely the cleanest, fastest and most precise alternate picker out there! That right hand of his has almost machine-like precision!

Shawn lane?

Agree on Shawn Lane. Paul said something along the lines of Shawn being the most terrifying player. I’ll also toss Al Di Meola in the list of crazy clean and precise alternate pickers. Paul is beastly but Shawn and Al are insane.

Excellent guitarist. I can’t help but wonder in amazement watching him play and that strangely long pinkie. At times he actually tucks it on the back of neck while shredding with the other three. Crazy great fingers

I’m really glad you talk about Gilbert playing covers. He had a side project with Mike Portnoy doing a bunch of Rush called Cygnus and the Sea Monsters. Great stuff.

I would have loved to have watched Gilbert during his practices around age 15. And to think after years of one picking style, he decided to change up. Pretty amazing.

If theres anyway i can support your channel and career ill do it. Best you tube channel ever. Best player best teacher and i know them all. Dont know how i can thank you enough. Youre the guy ! So very grateful. I heard how you said people were trying to take away from Santanas career cause he works with rappers and pop musicians and how that was wrong and i loved that. I love music doesnt matter what genre if i like it. If a musician can play to all styles and meet all types of people they will be better for it. My favorite you tube channel is Late Night Lessons. Thank you so much.
