@AmericaCirclingTheDrain It's restrictive, there's no arguing that. You don't get as much sensory input from tastes, and textures. That being said, it is satisfying enough that many people just need a small bit of motivation to keep from eating things that hurt them.
@speedyllama83808 ай бұрын
@@MorningInAmerica_Nov_5_2024 It requires a lot of self-discipline. It's also socially unacceptable, so there is always a peer pressure to eat, "normally" again. Plus, even though KZbin carnivores to on and on about how they've never liked vegetables... I love them. I've always loved them. I've actually never liked beef, I've always found beef off-putting. Now I eat 1 pound of beef per day, between 6 and 12 egg yolks depending on how hungry I am...everything cooked in Tallow. No dairy, no vegetables, no fruits, no sugar, no fake sweeteners, no kooky whacky chemicals... Just beef, salt, egg yolks, water, and black decaf coffee. I am just starting out (almost two weeks) and have to thank you for your videos. Thanks to your advice I can now eat eggs! They always went right through me with terrible cramping and nausea. Now I have them with a pat of cold butter and no issue at all. It is like a miracle. My biggest problem with the diet is of my own creation, fear. Although I feel so much better, all the negative "data" whispers in my ear. Heart attack, stroke, colon, gout. I am trying to go by how I feel but at 61 it is a big change. I still need to find the right fat/protein ratio for me and meal serving sizes but at 8 pounds down I am a work in progress and look forward to the journey. Today was my last day of sugar. I want to lose about 60lbs and keep it off. I gained a lot of weight over the last 3 years, I could tell my body was changing. So far what I have noticed is I dont feel bloated anymore. Yes I get very full but it digests much better and by the time I go to bed I am not full and there is no more bloat. Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet : I am now over 100 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else 400-500 g of cocked meat plus 7-8 eggs a day. Divided in 2 meals) I am now 34 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-20%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss) I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems. I lost about 15 lbs in the first 6 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 6 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements) I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor can I change my body composition. So I would like to ask more experienced Carnivores: 1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnviroa diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat) 2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you? Thank you for your attention

When I was on a plant-based diet, I had to give myself B12 shots in my backside daily after years of deficiency. So much healthier now on Carnivore.
@RaceLever8 ай бұрын
So you didn't realize there are a ridiculous amount of ways to get b-12 without shots and are pretending the b-12 in meat is somehow magical even though b-12 comes from bacteria not plants or animals???... Sounds like your problem was you... ;-)

@@RaceLeverMost of us enjoy being healthy take your vegetarian crap or whatever you eat somewhere else 😂 enjoy ingesting your anti nutrients. So many vegans are dying I’ve been seeing articles and news stories on it

Always loved meat/eggs best anyway, but I also LIKE some veggies, so it makes me sad to think no greens at all but if it could really heal my health issues it may be worth it. Haven’t started yet but thank you to all that share their stories of personal changes.

So much easier than Keto. On week 8 and ripped to 10% body fat and still power lifting. No sugar cravings and blood markers are great (other than LDL being 239, which was expected if you understand physiology and biochemical mechanisms on carnivore). Going for 90 total days. I thought I was lean/healthy before but WOW what a difference just 8 weeks have made. The extra fat just dropped off to were I had to increase my heavy cream amount to slow my fat reduction. I'm 53, very muscular and ripped with no TRT and lifetime natural. If you want to try carnivore, do it but research the annoying side effects that last a short time. SBG has some videos on them. Good luck to all.

Many people do not understand the healing process. For a time you may indeed not feel well as your body chemistry adjusts. Yeast die off, your liver will start working and your gut may go through some major changes all of which can be uncomfortable. Some people will read this discomfort as "this isn't working for me" and go back to old habits.

Just did my first day carnivore. I don't how much change was just in my head or if it affected me that quickly. I had two reactions. One, way more energy than normal, still struggled with lack of energy in the middle of the day but I think that is due to sleep. and two, I was way more hungry than normal. I think it was because I noticed all the things I couldn't eat if I wanted to actually attempt this. Like bread! Which also meant I couldn't snack like I normally do. I failed to maintain my diet, but not as badly as I thought I would(I had a piece of bread ha). Cooked some delicious ground beef, which funny enough was the first time I did that. All together, was really nice. I am looking forward to this diet. Hopefully I find some really nice recipes, because my one fear is that it will get REALLY boring lol. Thanks Butter Gal! My next goal after I am able to stick to this diet is try to find some minimal ingredient spices and additives. The lower the number, the better.

It does get boring..but it is worth it. Your commitment isn't there if you couldn't make one day. Try doing more research and re-commit..

I’ve been carnivore almost 3 months now. But I’m really struggling. Eczema is way better but still some more healing to be had. The reason I’m struggling is I can only eat steak, salt, & drink water. Nothing else works for me!…other than wild caught salmon once and awhile. Everything else I try either triggers a flare or makes me feel sickish. I’m wanting fruit or something refreshing and different. Struggling emotionally. I’d love to hear back from you…needing done encouragement please. God bless you all.

Having the ability to control your own health is paramount. Look at people who use (external) control for weight loss, an example would be new shots for weight loss that causes some people to vomit multiple times a day which will dissolve teeth and lead to millions of people needing dental work. Put control of your health back in your own hands (internal).

64yo Female. Carnivore over 4 months. Strict carnivore! I don’t even drink coffee anymore. No dairy. I follow Dr Berry’s eating recommendation and only eat when I’m hungry and stop eating when I can’t eat another bite. Lost 14lbs, fasting insulin is 3.7, no more aches/pains, digestive issues gone. However, for the last 6 weeks I feel fatigued, have no stamina, and in the past 3 weeks have had several bouts of severe lightheadedness upon standing that would not stop until I laid down. I just had my blood tested this week and find my A1C has gone up from 6.3 in 10/2023 to 6.4 5/2/2024, I have uric acid crystals, red blood cells, leukocytes, & yeast in my urine. I am anemic. How?! 90% of what I eat is beef! And did I mention I don’t feel well? I’m SO incredibly discouraged and dismayed at these results. I don’t know where to go from here. Any suggestions?

This morning, Saturday March 16, I I saw Data himself, Brent Spiner, at Galaxycon Richmond. He mentioned he is thriving on a vegetarian diet. Whatever, Brent! Someday soon I will stand on his autograph line and mention carnivore to him and see what he says. I go to a lot of conventions.

Skin issues cleared up plus I managed to misplace 70 pounds with another 40 to go. I also discovered I have heart issues of which they said was non reversable. I think they are full of shh...um..uh.. sugar. Almost a year on Carnivore and I still watch the videos as I know I screw it up from time to time and they help to keep me honest..

I’m a man in my mid 20’s Started carnivore January 5th weighing 210 pounds and by February 28th I weighed 182! I mostly eat ribeye steaks one in the morning and one at night. I throw in bacon and pork rinds from the brand 4505 occasionally. I eat lots of butter and salt. Sometimes I feel like I need to expand my diet but I feel pretty good everyday. I can workout for long periods of time and not get tired.

I do drink coffee with organic heavy whipping cream too. Unfortunately I still drink it with stevia I know I should get off it but I never crave sugar or carbs so in that way it’s not a problem
