I was actually suffering from early on set dementia when I started down the carnivore path. Over 1.5 years my symptoms are completely gone. Zero brain fog, memory is back to normal, and my ability to express my thoughts without sounding like Joe Biden has returned. Is it connected? I believe so.

I have started carnivore and unfortunately my family is not supportive at all even after I told them I did the homework and showed them videos on this subject, they think I'm ridiculous and I'm going down a dangerous path because I should eat a balanced diet of meat, vegetables and salad. I have auto immune and a "balanced diet" has not helped me so I am now doing carnivore and it's working I wake up and have no pain like I used to and I feel great. Thank you for your informative videos.

I just stay vague and tell my family I'm "eating more protein" and "cutting out sugar". People can't handle truth these days and do what they believe to be true. Let results speak for themselves. Maybe I'll be real with them in a year or two.

Started working aged 10 in the 1950's, hand picking crops like beans, pea's and maize (Corn), manual timber mill labor etc. My 1st computer was Commodore 64 in the 80's, had a Nokia phone in the 90's, Built my own super computer in 2010 (Xeon water cooled with ten 2.5" SSD hard drives plus...), suffice to say I stayed on the bleeding edge for an uneducated farm boy. Bought up in Aussie bush towns70 years ago, we lived on home grown food, wild rabbits, roo, our chickens, lamb and beef. No power, mum cooked on an old wood stove or in pots hung over the open fire in the living room. Today I eat a Carnivore diet and make a steady income trading the Nasdaq, S&P500 etc.

If someone is concerned about their calcium intake, they can also eat canned sardines (packed in water). They have plenty of bioavailable calcium as well as natural electrolytes, iodine, and other pure goodies without the heavy metals many fish have.

Many people from Oriental countries are lactose intolerant. It is less natural to eat dairy products compared to meat, fish or poultry. In the wilderness, predators devour their prey, but I have never heard of an animal that sucks milk from another biological species, especially if it is not a baby anymore. Can you imagine a female wolf breastfeeding an adult deer? Absurd! Yet, when it comes to humans, this abnormality does not look bizarre after being carefully camouflaged by packaging, transportation, and marketing. It is easy to imagine a middle-aged man in a business suit drinking a glass of milk in the morning. It is difficult to imagine the same man positioning himself under a cow, elbowing away her newborn calf, placing its mama’s nipple into his mouth and eagerly sucking her milk. Not appealing! To prevent the risk of osteoporosis, ensure that you drink sufficient water, do weight bearing exercise such as walking, jogging etc. and eat plenty of green vegetables. This is how countries with little milk consumption such as China prevent osteoporosis. Wild animals don’t have a problem with osteoporosis and none of them drink milk after they have been weaned. How do you think they prevent it? Off course eating green vegetables is not healthy because of the toxic plant defence chemicals in them. If you eat animal based you get everything you need, including the 12 minerals your bones consist of. Most consumers and, surprisingly, most doctors, believe that bones are made of calcium. Yet any basic biochemistry textbook will tell you the truth: Bones are made of at least a dozen minerals and we need all of them in perfect proportions in order to have healthy bones and healthy bodies. If you get too much calcium, through food sources or by taking supplements, you set yourself up for an array of negative health consequences, including obesity, Type 2 diabetes, Type 2 hypothyroidism, hypertension, depression, problem pregnancies and many more.

@cj548 fair point. I generally don't boil my eggs, though. I just crack them and cook em. Then gently wash the shells, pat dry, and cook on a tray in the oven to remove any bacteria. After that, i grind it to a powder in my coffee grinder. Sprinkle a little on whatever you're eating, and bobs your uncle.

I started my new life on carnivore on April 22nd. Almost a month in all pain gone, I snored every single night really loud and would wake up my wife. I haven't snored in 3 weeks. My sleep now is something I forgot existed or never ever really experienced. I always thought I slept good until now. I wake up and it doesn't take me 45 min to actually wake up. I am fully awake and energized 5 min after waking up. I am 44 btw and I agree it is almost like my body is aging in reverse although that is the signs of getting rid of the toxic foods and my body is able to function like I have never felt before. It is never too late. Everyone around me sees the results so far and are about to jump on. I just had to be the guinea pig. Glad I did.

@@Monster_Mover_StocksIm new with carnivore and seeing positive results so far… I was just thinking about people who live over 100 hundred here in Japan, (talking mainly about Okinawa) Their foods are mainly popular in Fatty Pork, Brown Sugar, Awamori (extremely strong alcohol), seaweeds, Habu (poisonous snakes),and bitter gourd, etc. They’re also known to have family get-togethers and enjoy dancing and singing more than others on main land. I don’t understand how they can live so long on lots of sugar and alcohol. Maybe it’s the pork, hot climate, and mental health. I live on top of a mountain in Nagasaki and there are many elderly people who are over 100. Interesting thing is there’s a gap… the generation after the war when the western diet was introduced to Japan, population declining. Junk food industries are making people ill. Granulated sugar and wheat flour majorly. I do believe people ate more naturally sourced proteins especially fish and other seafood. Used to be common to have fresh chicken eggs also eating more chicken. Beef was usually something special, so special. Pork was more common. Such a deep topic on food, diet and cultures. I’m fascinated about how so many people reverse serious illness from this carnivore way of eating. Something new to me and it’s worth giving it a try. I hope we all benefit from this proper human diet before it’s too late. Thanks to Dr. Chaffee and his friends. I have a feeling Dr. Berg is a secret “Carnivore” but unable to announce it since that’ll shock his followers plus his plant based products won’t sell. Also if people became healthy, that will also affect his sales and followers. Big change coming in the hospital business and everything else. 😅

If you’re going to do the simmer method, 3 hours simply isn’t long enough. It usually takes 3 days. But if you use a pressure cooker, then 3 hours is fine. Also remember to put some apple cider vinegar in the water. If you’re using a good variety of bones, you simply don’t need to use egg shells. There’s nothing wrong with using them but it’s an added process that’s not needed. I’ve been making bone broth for ten years now so I’ve had some experience.

I am Kenyan and come from the Agikuyu tribe. And yes as a community we traditionally have an omnivorous diet but leaning towards plants since we are a farming community. We keep sheep, goat, cattle and chicken and we consume these as well. I believe when the study was done it was during the colonial or post colonial Era. Our people were the ones who were displaced from our lands by the settlers and taken into camps, hence why the Mau Mau uprising that fought for Kenyas independence were From our community. This definately had an effect on our traditional diet which was a mixed omnivore diet. The Maasai people who are our neighbors and lead a pastrolist lifestyle tend to be healthier and taller. It's interesting that the Kikuyu are now known to be meat lovers😅. We slaughter goats on special occasion and enjoy it with family and friends and make many traditional delicacies from each and every part of the animal.

It’s not mentioned often enough that bone is made primarily of collagen, then calcium phosphate. To keep or create strong bones, glycine intake is extremely important since glycine increases production of collagen. A carnivore diet should include the collagenous tissues like bone, skin, and connective tissue dissolved in water. Yup - bone broth. (A huge shout of appreciation to the Pottenger’s Human YT channel, with which I am not affiliated.)

I’ve been doing carnivore for almost a year now. When I do make chicken in the pressure cooker, after I remove the chicken, I let the liquid in there cool. Then I scrape out the gelatinous collagen, refrigerate it and eat it daily and give it to my dog as well. Before carnivore diet that’s the kind of stuff I would toss.

I met my great grandmother no one really knows how old she was but we can say she was more than 118 years old because she was a kid in the pacific war, by the way I’m from Chile. They eat their animals and had a glass of home red wine each day. One day she went to bed after cleaning the dishes and never woke up; her daughter my grandmother died same way we don’t know how old she was either but according to the national events when she was alive she was about 111 and my grandmother was 112 they all died in the same fashion and all of them were functional no diseases no meds and their brain were so good that all the kids enjoyed going to see them and hear their stories that later on we learned in school. People used to live a lot longer free of major disease down in Chile. Not anymore.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:01 *🥩 The idea that a carnivore diet leads to calcium deficiency is short-sighted, as observed in carnivores who obtain calcium from meat and milk.* 02:21 *🍖 In populations like the Inuit and the Masai, who historically consumed primarily meat-based diets, heart disease was virtually nonexistent.* 05:32 *💊 Antinutrients in plants can hinder calcium absorption, leading to false assumptions about calcium deficiency in meat-based diets.* 06:13 *🦴 Cooked meat can lack essential nutrients for bone health, leading to reduced bone mineral density over generations.* 07:52 *📊 Nutritional recommendations are often based on mixed diets and may not apply to exclusive meat eaters who avoid antinutrients found in plants.* 09:13 *🔍 Despite claims, historical records show low rates of heart disease in populations consuming predominantly meat-based diets.* 18:13 *📉 Life expectancy statistics from the 1800s suggest that if individuals reached adulthood, they lived comparable lifespans to today, challenging misconceptions about early death.* 22:09 *🦠 The potential negative effects of protein breakdown in the large intestine are speculative and lack hard evidence.* 23:33 *🥩 Practical evidence contradicts claims of calcium deficiency on a carnivore diet, as seen in populations like the Inuit who thrive on meat-based diets.* 24:01 *📉 If a theory contradicts observed facts, it's flawed, regardless of its proponents or theoretical frameworks.* Made with HARPA AI

@Anthony Chaffee MD: I am interested to hear your thoughts on the known personalities who have fallen off of carnivore. Lillie Kane was the most recent (and surprising) person to fall away, as well as celebrity Dr. Drew. They not only stopped doing carnivore, they all-but preach against it. It seems in reddit threads this also happens once people develop the habit of monitoring their blood 24/7 - something they were never doing when on a "balanced" diet, but once carnivore, they go nuts with obsessiveness. As soon as any micronutrient whatsoever is even a nanogram out of place, they freak out and make massive adjustments. To oversimplify one of the points they discussed, some have noticed their blood sugar dips low during sleep since they aren't eating any carbs. This is triggering cortisol and other stressor hormone responses causing them to snap awake in the middle of the night; they then have trouble getting back to sleep. Is this a direct result of having no carbs in the diet, or is something else at play? I would be interested to hear your thoughts if you read this!

It’s interesting that you bring up Dr. Mercola. I have followed him for years and was buying a lot of his products. When I went carnivore last summer, I stopped buying pretty much everything except for the sleep support. I noticed recently that he posted another article talking about how he introduced white rice back into his diet in the morning. It really made me think because when I went carnivore, I lost a lot of weight, but I also lost a lot of muscle so that still has me curious. He had a good argument for it. It would be great if you could address that. Because I really did lose a lot of muscle. And what he said about bringing white rice into his diet made sense. Based on his argument, but I still don’t know. Overall, it doesn’t seem right. 🤷‍♀️ we have had nothing but great results in my family after going carnivore. Bless you Dr.Chaffee. You truly are doing God‘s work. If it wasn’t for you, think of how many people would still be in so much pain. I thank you so much for everything that you do. You have changed my life and so many others lives. And I am so appreciative of you and your work.

I started carnivore last Summer. I have cheated here and there but the first 3 to 4 months I was pretty strict. I honestly have no idea how much protein or fat I’m eating every day. I just eat it when I’m hungry and make sure that I get enough to where I am full. But I do eat 3 to 4 eggs a day, a sausage, a piece of cheese, and then whatever meat I’ve cooked. Mostly beef. Occasionally chicken and bacon. But I always eat it with butter and I don’t throw out the animal fat anymore. I was also doing Pilates here and there, while I was doing carnivore last year. Recently moved and have not found a way to work that back in down here.

@@nancyj5490 do you eat until the meat stops tasting good?

Yes. Typically I eat til I am full. I think that’s the same thing, right?

I forgot to answer my weight question. I actually was just about 200 pounds. I’m 5 foot nine and for about five years I couldn’t barely lose any weight. 54 yo. But I lost 35 pounds in the first few months of being carnivore. I would like to lose about 10 or 15 more pounds to get back to my typical weight but I’m keeping myself stable right now because I had to buy a lot of new clothes. And with my move, it was just too much to think about.

If you cook bones in the pressure cooker for a few hours, they become buttery soft. You can also eat bones. I do this regularly.

I still have nutritional deficiencies on carnivore, so my doctor prescribed more organ meat. I can’t stand eating organ meat, so he suggested Pluck. I ordered it a few weeks ago and love it. It’s been great - no flavor at all!

I found out my body doesn’t absorb folate like it is supposed but my body has always been weird so I take a methylated folate now. Carnivore didnt cause this.

You can get ground organs in with your ground beef if you find a ranch that grass feeds and finishes their beef in your area or they can mail to you. Thats what we have done. Our Rancher calls in primal it makes Great hamburgers meat loaf whatever you use your ground beef for.

What is Pluck??
@tb54321

Pluck is ground dehydrated organ meats. It’s easy to sprinkle on top of things or cook with it. It’s easier than buying meat with the organs ground into it. And since it’s dehydrated, it lasts a long time. So I add it to my sour cream or butter or sprinkle on top of my meat. It doesn’t have any flavor or texture to it that it noticeable imo.

@@Georgiew9227You can put organ meat into capsule shells and swallow. Mitosynergy has helped many people to normalise copper toxicity/deficiency so they no longer require the methyl version of supplements. Not saying that this is your issue but something to consider. You might want to explore copper and liver.

My dad .was poor living off the land growing up, they did eat berries and honey wild berries ..We, go from eating carbs during the summer to meat base during the winter that is the reason why our bodies switches through the seasons. Now , our bodies are just in the carb mode and we never have our season.

Sally Norton said calcium citrate is good to help bind and pull oxalates out, i have been using bone and marrow from Ancestral supplements, i guess that would work also.

Wow.. this really spoke to me. I used to sell drugs and be addicted to them as well. That's all i did up until 29 years old. I went to rehab and then sober living. It's been 3 years since I first went to detox, and now I'm a financial advisor. Everything came together when I embraced my new life and decided that the old me is dead and gone, lost a lot of people and friends along the way but it was worth it. Im a different person now on the "other side"
