Hey Hamza, I agree with most of your points (expertly explained), but I have to dispute the sun cream one. As a medical student, I have to say that UV-B overexposure from the sun directly causes skin cancer. Sun cream doesn’t prevent the testosterone production, but it does help prevent skin cancer. Thousands of years ago when all of humanity was dark skinned, we were able to withstand much higher levels of sunlight. Other than that your stuff is amazing bro, you’ve helped me out a ton and I hope you can continue reaching as many young men as possible ❤

what I don’t understand about the cortisol fact is that don’t we all need to go through a stressed life to do greater things?? meaning our testosterone will go down if we are stressed? whether it’s going through tough times in business or family loss or whatever it is, does this mean we are all decreasing our testosterone by going through stress?
@adriantaner7950
@adriantaner7950 Жыл бұрын
Well high base levels of cortisol are chronic stressors a cortisol filled life is low exert stress meaning homework and assignments it strains your brain. Testosterone is built through shock trauma stresses, cold showers for example your body goes into survival mode same with lifting heavy weights or fighting your body’s activating every energy receptor it has. Testosterone is built through adrenaline and norepinephrine, all chemicals that are used when exerting extreme forces on your body. So there are differences

about the sunsreen analogy (with people in older times), the people then were not exposed directly to the sun cause the Ozone layer of the earth was not destroyed ( due tto air polution) and tthus they did noy get burned. On the other hand, today we are exposed to the sun wich is bad sometimes. For example in Greece you can get preety burned without sunscreen.

I think im doing pretty well, the first tip shocked me, because most people can’t handle stress and don’t know how to deal with it and breathing helps so much, Before i was told to do it i was alr doing it, when i noticed i was losing my sanity i said to my self: “ *my name* , breathe in… breathe out… stay focused, everything will be alright” and gained a little boost every-time. Glad to see what i was doing all this time is true and really helps, this is literally another relieve for me‼️

hi loved the video, just wanna say i really disagree with any messages about not wearing any suncream. Everyone please just make sure for long periods of time stick it on. I had an older family friend who was supposed to be white, was GOLDEN brown as he would sunbathe all the time, and he had the same argument, our ancestors didn't need suncream so he doesn't neither. He unfortunately, after about 10 years of him practising this got skin cancer, and not in one place but multiple places on his body, he's all good now but I do believe these things are correlated (correlation doesn't equal causation mind you)

Stress and anxiety have always naturally been a part of human life. Our ancestors had double the amount of test yet they had lives that were objectively more stressful and anxiety prone than ours. While Cortisol is indeed an antagonist to Testosterone I do not think it is possible to prevent having high Cortisol levels. Stress is a symptom of being alive and, sure you can definitely deal with it in a way that reduces its impact, but you'll never decrease it significantly or remove it ever. Ofc I'm not saying you shouldn't do anything to reduce it. Obviously stress definitely has measurable negative impacts. Btw I'm no doctor so if I'm wrong please do tell me I'd genuinely love to change my views about anxiety and stress.

They say that you can only get vitamin D from the sun when the UV value is 3 or higher. If this means that it must be 3+ to return T levels to normal as well is the question. However it makes sense not to 'go outside' if the effects of doing so are negligible or non-existent, at least for the purpose of T levels. Of cours egoing outside is important but if you are setting aside time to go outside simply for your hormones, it may not help. Needs more proof. This is especially the case in places where the UV value is far below 3+.

Great video, I just have some problems with the sunscreen thing: the way we as humans percieve sun light is through our eyes, that's the main driver for the chemical changes that happen afterwards in our body after sun exposure. On the other hand, there is so much proven evidence of the risks for your skin related to sun exposure without a proper sunscreen (that does not diminish the good natiral effects of the sun). So it's nor helpful for you nor good for your long term health go to tge sun everyday without a well developed protection. "Strong masculine primal man" lived for 30-50 years... yeah they didn't used sunscreen.

Bro some people just need to put sunscreen on, at least in sunny areas. White caveman lived in central and northern Europe where the sun wasn't so strong. Too much sun definitely gives you skin cancer if your skin is not build for it (darker skin). It's simple biology. I'm a white ass German and lived in Spain for a while so I know what I say. You really say a lot of good things Hamza but you really have to differentiate things sometimes, there are a lot of young guys watching your content and just believe you blindly without reflecting what your tips mean for their own situation and you are responsible to give them the right information.

The single biggest increase in testosterone that has been measured during a study has actually been 700% and was measured in chessplayers right before a tournament/competition. The study basically concluded, that competition spikes testosterone, which in my opinion is the most relevant way to increase ones testosterone and I am surprised it's not mentioned in the video. Having a competitive and goal-oriented mindset is the most important thing and without it you won't get far in any realm of life, no matter your testosterone levels. I call it the self-improvement trap: You can do all the good habits (meditating, journaling etc.) and quit all the bad ones (social media, porn, etc.), yet if you don't have any goals, you still won't progress in life. If you have goals however, you will find yourself quitting most bad habits automatically, simply due to lack of time and interest. tl;dr: have goals

you can't just believe 1 study. also you didn't state the duration of the increase. a 10 minute increase will hurt you more than help you.
@ferryhmm
@ferryhmm Жыл бұрын
@@ram5ramen582 Well, it's just one study having shown an increase in testosterone of 700%, however there are countless other studies having shown that competition (no matter the context) increases testosterone drastically. This goes from testosterone being increased from talking to girls (intersexual competition), increasing status (people higher in hierarchies have higher testosterone levels) to engaging in direct competition like athletics or chess. However losing has shown to drastically decrease testosterone as well, so make sure you're winning lol Regarding the duration of the increase, for increase in status the increase in testosterone is lasting as long as being that status. For the other things the testosterone increase is more short-lived, however that doesn't mean that it's of no use. Sure, we can't engage in direct competition or talk to girls 24/7, however I believe that just the more competitive mindset in general will yield result. And if you're trying to be the best (even if you're just competing with yourself) at everything you do, then that essentially is like engaging in competition 24/7 and thus the testosterone increase is more relevant. This is why I outlined in my original comment that it's a mindset thing. You essentially have to change your entire lifestyle to be more competitive and goal oriented and I am convinced you will see a significant increase in testosterone.

Stress less. - Higher cortisol (stress hormone) = lower testosterone. - Lower cortisol by breathing correctly --> nasal breathing - Breathing exercise --> Use Hamza's video for breathing, morning and evening. 2. Sunlight. - Lack of sunlight kills testosterone. - 30min 3x per week already helps. - Be outside in the middle of the day. - If it's not dark, there is sunlight. 3. Semen retention. - 400% increase your testosterone. - Not only NoFap. - Semen retention also applies when having sex. - Have sex --> stop before ejaculation.

Hey hamza, i’m Micah, and Im 15. I’ve been following your advice for sometime now, and it’s really helped me out. I’ve taken your advice on getting sunlight and making working out a part of your routine. Every day after school I walked 3 miles in the sun to my gym to work out for two hours. I have already noticed the positive output from myself and from others. we’re all in this together, boys.

The reason that skin cancer has increased over the last couple of decades is because people have actually been spending more time indoors throughout the year only to all of a sudden go on holiday to a tropical destination and completely blast their skin with very high UV levels. This way your skin is not used to this kind of sunlight and you get sunburned. As opposed to primal people who were outside all year and their skin slowly adapted to increasing sunlight in the summertime. That is why spending more time outdoors might actually be better for your skins health than staying in your dark room for most of the year.

@Masculinity once again 1400ng/dl is incredibly high, there is no chance you're doubling it from 700 unless you measured at 700 when at 5 percent bodyfat and sleep deprived

Fun fact: breathing through your nose also improves your facial features, there was a study on this that showed those who breathed through their nose had more defined jawlines due to the tongue having a place to rest
