fat is definitely the enemy (well, body fat, at least) -- if you didn't catch it, he meant that being fat is your body adapting to your "fat habits", so it's a "feature" (of a bad lifestyle). Do cardio, lift weights, eat healthy, and you get the feature of a good lifestyle -- looking good.

Because it's a sign of control and confidence. If you have to shout from the rooftops that you're good at something then you are probably insecure because why insist to everyone you're good at something when no one even asked. If someone is actually confident in their skills they just do what they do like normal because they have nothing to prove. Then there's the fact that this level of control is very impressive. It's a sign of incredible strength that he can hang upside down while doing push-ups and talk as if he's just sitting and chatting with you. Thanks for reading.

I stopped drinking and smoking weed. I'm about 2 weeks sober so far and I feel like a completely different person. I've been smoking and drinking since I was 16. I'm 30 now and that feeling "high on life" is actually working for me. I've been so addicted to being on something that I'm now enjoying this new "high" and clarity is so nice. It's a everyday struggle but I'm hoping I can defeat this. Edit:I'm now 6 weeks sober, kicking ass and dropping weight still. My only trouble is caffeine and junk food now but my cravings for weed and alchohol are completely gone. Thanks for the encouragement youtube comment section

At the higher levels you will want to take testosterone to progress, female builders are not always honest that they are taking it but they need to eventually to compete unless they have a genetic mutation.

@@Agret Well, I don't want to be a body builder, so, really doubt I'll put extra testosterone in my body any time soon, if never. I just want a healthy body to be able to lift my dogs bag of food, climb, run, and things like that. 😅

Yeah its a different kind of training. If your goal is to just be healthy, then even lighter stuff than this guy is plenty. But if you want to deadlift 800 lbs then calisthenic focused lifting might not be enough. Its all about goals really, eddie hall might not be a runner, but damn that mans an athlete. Magnus Midtbø is a different kind of athlete too, it all depends on what your goals are. Do something though, dont do nothing. “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”

Interesting thing I heard about: doing things that back in ye oldin days would be used for survival can boost testosterone like CRAZY. For example, studies show that chopping wood can boost testosterone by almost 50%, compared to most workouts which boost around 30%. Obviously it still depends on the person, but I thought this type of stuff was pretty interesting.

Might be because when you were a kid you didn’t have these habits, and you were happier that way, at least I know I was. I find that every time I get addicted to anything, porn, nicotine, weed, kratom, alcohol, it just sucks the enjoyment out of life, some overtime, some quicker than others, especially porn, I haven’t nutted since the first of the year and it’s 100% changed my life, anxiety & depression gone, motivation at an all time high. I feel more alive everyday that goes by. I can easily say quitting every bad habit i’ve indulged in for so long is the greatest decision i’ve ever made for myself.
