if i fail a twist out, usually its the the top of my hair bc the curls are looser, so i just do a /up/down or a pineapple w/ faux bangs

My best style is the twist out. The key tips: 1. Use a denman to detangle just before twisting up the section, sometimes in the middle of twisting too, This makes separating easy and frizz-free bc you can see exactly where you need to separate. 2. Use a holding product...I use setting lotion bc it gives good hold while allowing flexibility. 3. Use small sections...this is how you get good definition. 4. To make your hair last without getting frizzy prematurely, layer products...like the LOC method. Personally I start with my setting spray, then grapeseed oil, then I mix melted shea butter with my cream styler-Usually Cantu and twist, ensuring not share hair between the sections...reduces frizz! I promise, this is your key. It lasts me up to 10 days with retwisting in bigger sections and adding oil every other night or every 3 nights.
