Thanks for this video Tony, I’ve been absorbing them a lot lately as I focus on my craft. I’ve also been praying for you and your family in Jesus’s mighty name. I know I don’t really know you in person, but you seem so genuine and approachable that I’ve still felt compelled to pray for you. Anyways, thank you for this video and may the Lord bless you.

Jab , right hand while stepping to the side and dipping. Most of the time the wild hook they throw. Left hook to body then then the head. Grab them knee few times and if needed extra measure kick. Never failed me. 😂 love you have a similar idea

Great info as always. The confidence you get from a fighting system to stand up for yourself is immeasurable! My two go-to combo's from my door experiences on Union Street, Plymouth in the 2010s were: against a guy with his guard up, reach with my lead hand and grab his left hand and step right as i pulled his hand left and off my back (right) foot throw my right hand. Then follow up if needed. 2nd, distraction "is that your dog?", "Your mrs doesnt look happy with you" etc and then 1-2 or just a rear hand. Both worked a lot more than you'd think. Also, a low kick to the thigh dropped a lot of people.

Scenario 3 is a great way to transition to BJJ. Thank God the dude on top of you stood back up and wasn’t trained in BJJ or ground and pound.

I've read a few articles that talks of muscle memory where they mention constantly training and perfecting a small number of martial arts moves is better than training using large numbers of moves. It means that in a situation where you need to fight, the muscle memory kicks in and you can execute these moves a lot better. It sounds like this is similar as what is mentioned in this clip.

I send it down the middle too. I find most people throw wide and keeping it tight allows me to hit before them. Usually my jab throws their initial punch off trajectory which opens up my right lane.

Here’s a few tips, don’t throw hooks in a street fight unless you’re going to the body. All these swimmers always put their head down and there’s a high probability of you landing to the top of the head. In return, could leave you with broken hands. If you’re throwing shots upstairs, keep all of them straight down the pipe, and use ALOT of feints. You could even play defense and use a lot of feints cause most of these bums who don’t train at all will gas out after missing a couple of haymakers. I know turning your punches is the correct thing to do when you have gloves on, or if your hands are wrapped, but I almost never turn my punches over in the street. Trust me bro.

To the topic of one punch in movies would be boring: One of my childhood heroes is the invented character Old Shatterhand. Karl May wrote that he was able to end any fight with just one punch. The novels about this character were famous in Germany right from the start in the nineteenth century and the, in my estimation still awesome, movies from 1963 on were well loved for decades; now the memory of these characters are fading. So, no, a one-punch-fight don´t have to be boring. Just a side note.

Love the video Tony, brilliant as always! I noticed most of the combos are starting from rear side with an overhand right or straight right. Do you think starting with a jab would not be wise in a street fight since you are trying to end it fast? I feel like whenever i am in doubt i just jab until i can set up that big shot so curious on that.
@Autonamatonamaton Жыл бұрын
I think since these are designed to work against untrained opponents, leading with a right hand isn't such a bad idea because your first straight shot is probably going to land and you may as well go with your biggest shot

Tony if I'm in a situation that may mean a real fight I step back and if he means me harm he will step forward and I know it's a real fight coming so I do it again and again but when he steps forward for the 3rd time and when his front foot is in the air I step in jab straight right left hook on his chin when my front foot is in the air so all his weight and all my weight meets on his chin - a draw and down he goes

Jesus died for our sins so that we can go to heaven. He payed our price. Jesus didn’t come into the world to condemn the world but to save the world. Put your trust in Jesus Christ and he will grant you the gift of heaven.
