Squats should be your favorite workout. Im sure you have discovered this but its incredible the difference it is feeling strong in the core and legs. Ive gone months without training and also months having trained and Its a no brainer. Leg days are so so so so important

they're the biggest days of the week!

Bro!! Single leg RDL’s are insanely good for balance and hamstrings, they’re like every golfer’s go to exercise. Also on your squats you should make sure your knees are staying directly over your toes. It looks like your knees are turned inwards and that’s just asking for injury.
@benhaddengolf3 жыл бұрын
yeah I know what you're talking about with the knees. I'm duck footed so I was trying to get my toes pointed straight forward. I might just let the toes point out in the futre

Go on a Bosu Ball for some balance stuff. Try closing your eyes and shaking your head back and forth. Your balance is already off and now you are adding a movement by shaking your head and now you can’t see. It’s a neurological mind stabilizer f***. Go on a cable pulley and one arm at a time start from the top of the backswing and pull down. If you are trying to get that DJ stretch flexibility at the top here ya go. Cable pulley as well imitate taking the golf club back. Super short range of motion make it super heavy. Body gets used to taking it back super heavy going to a club Will feel like a tooth pick . Next time you do legs start with a free bar and do 100 reps. ( it’s killer) There ya are. Tons of gym experimental experience 😂 That’s what my channel is about golf and fitness!✊🏻

Doing bench press still works the stabilizing muscles in your core, which will benefit your balance, any compound movement will improve your balance doesn't matter if you're sitting or standing. Also triceps are a great accessory muscle in your swing because when you release the club a lot of force is generated through your triceps. While your legs and core the most important muscles in your swing triceps should still be a big focus, shoulders are also very important for generating force in your rotation.

I took 2 years off from golf. I got tired of nursing the sore back and tennis elbow. I've played twice in the last week. My body is different and so is my golf game. Get as strong as you possibly can guys....
