Sweet! Let me know how they work out for you - I got a fair amount of use out of mine on the jon boat at the end of the '23 season. I liked them quite a bit, and they were WAY more secure than just resting poles against the gunwale. Tight lines!

Any idea if these work on the hard plastic cleats that come factory on newer Jon boats?

Hey Robert - they will work with plastic cleats provided they are the correct shape. Check out 1:03 and you can see what mind look like. My Dad's boat has wider, flatter cleats and it worked well on there during a recent trip to WI as well. Hope that helps!

I recently moved to Washington state. Interesting thing here, standard license allows 1 rod, but you can purchase a license for an additional rod for $12.
