Yummy. I love me some king prawn fried rice. Where have you been. Seems like forever since your last video 😂

Definitely one of my favourite rices. I’ve been busy with work and working on another KZbin channel (I know😆). It’s nice to know that anybody noticed at all 🥰

Those prawns! 🤩. Question: When you say "cool the rice as quickly as possible' and you were doing a big pot for say 8, how would you do this? Thanks for the vids and also the comedy video much love

They were very juicy and sweet! 😋 I would fill my sink with cold water and carefully put your pot in that (being careful not to let the water into the pot). That would speed it up. I’m glad you like my funnies. I always wonder if people just think I’m an idiot but I’m just having fun with it. Thank you 😊❤️

Hi. If I use chicken when would I add it? Would I need to cook it first
@ChowWithLau4 ай бұрын
@@carolyndelapuente7094 Hi Carolyn, if you’re cooking chicken from raw, stir fry your chicken first so it’s just cooked and set it aside. Then stir fry your rice and add the chicken near the end. If you’re using cooked, leftover chicken, add it half way through the stir fry. Hope that helps 😊

Thank you. I've just made it and it was delicious 😋

Really tried to do this, bought really expensive prawns, followed instructions to the letter, food was shit, burned shit. Please don't say difficult food is easy.

I'm really sorry to hear this, David. Cooking is sometimes a cruel teacher. Please don't be discouraged by this. I don't always get things right first time. When I make mistakes I try to analyse them and figure out how to show people how they can avoid doing the same. Obviously this can't be 100% perfect, but I try. My mission on this channel is to try to explain the tricky bits and to simplify where possible to get people into the kitchen. My channel is small enough so that I can engage with all people who reach out to me, so I celebrate every success and I feel every failure. I hope this doesn't dishearten you and I wish I could help you more directly. The one thing that might help in the future is that I aim to start live streaming soon which is much more of a 2 way communication. That might help because people can question me in real time. Don't give up buddy

I had similar when I started learning 3 years ago. You wouldn’t believe how many times I tried egg fried rice before I just about mastered it. My advice would be start simple with plain rice and seasoning then go to egg fried rice and get that perfect to how you like it before adding anything else. Also, to do the above watch videos by some of the best to get a feel for how to cook. So like this channel, School of Wok, Marion’s Kitchen, there’s another Made with Lau from America and Khoan Vaung I think it is? I’ve found cooking hard as it’s not as black and white as engineering 👍
