@muma655911 ай бұрын
yeah, see that's the point with women. Now I get it. The man needs to be attracted #1. Then the woman makes up her mind according to the person she sees in him. Both attraction and attractive personality are necessary, but in different priority orders for men than for women. Men need attraction and then look to see if the personality fits. Women need to know him as a person and often the attraction comes out of that.
@ashton195211 ай бұрын
@@muma6559 from what I understand from talking to men, I think it's much harder for women to find chemistry .. I have to see if I'll be able to respect him, that he's not going to compromise himself; not going let a woman push him around. That's huge

The men that I was most compatible with I wasn’t attracted too! WOW! I think it goes back to everyone having a type..PERIOD! One thing that I will not back down from is working out. I’m in my 50s and very fit, so I have to have someone who is the same or enjoys working out like I do. Non-negotiable. I like to dance and not one man that I ever dated liked to dance. Smh!! I took a hiatus from dating for several years. I’m now in a different headspace and I’m free emotionally, so I am able to approach dating much differently and the blinders are off…lol! My ex finance broke up with me because he said I was too dark…I’m not dark-skinned. He just liked mixed women..lol! I was not offended at all…glad it ended! I am going to write a memoir about my dating life. It’s been comical thus far…Stephen this is going to trigger a lot of people!! lol!!

Compromise is key in any meaningful relationship and connection can absolutely be established between these two types of people this happened in the failure of my last relationship because I like to go out if my partner had communicated with me effectively and told me that we need to do both to keep each other satisfied, I would’ve readily accommodated him I wasn’t even given the opportunity so please choose your words wisely thank you. I am a very big fan and I just needed to point this out because it hits home very harshly.

Stephan, I've been wanting to ask your opinion, and the opinion of other people who comment, about the weight issue perspective.... What are your thoughts on someone getting together with someone when they are more curvy/plus size, and seemingly attracted to them and wanting them as they are, however they end up losing a significant amount of weight and they like that even more.... but when they put some weight back on, they suddenly say they don't find them as attractive with the added weight??... It seems to me that reacting that way, and telling them this, isn't a reasonable response. My weight tends to fluctuate, but I lost 40 lbs over the first year in a relationship. Then I had some health issues come up, and it caused to me to gain back a little under 30 lbs. I was still smaller than I was when we first got together, but then he felt like he didn't find me as attractive anymore. While I appreciate honesty, I feel that is an unfair response to the situation. I'm a tall woman, and can carry extra weight pretty well, and he met me larger than that in the beginning. What are your thoughts on this?? I still feel some kind of way about this time in our relationship. I lost the weight again, but it's very hurtful to feel like my partner is so hyper focused on weight fluctuations, and can lose his attraction to me so easily. His weight fluctuates, and I still love and accept him throughout any changes.

I agree with everything that was said I just wonder about what if there’s one party that felt there was something missing or not perfect about the other person but God told them this is the one. I say this because there was a women at my old church that ended up getting married to a man in the church that wasn’t very attractive and it didn’t even look like the two matched at all on any level but her reasoning was that God confirmed that that was her husband and I guess He had also given confirmation with the man. Anyway long story short the got married shortly after.

I always hear “men are visual” and think they’ve told themselves that for years so they can do their “oh-so-needed” gentlemen clubs, mags, R / MA, boob restaurants, and websites. But as time has gone on, we know women are also visual and I think were suppressed cause many men don’t like their other half doing disrespectful things either. And neither should be doing them, but women are also visual 👀 don’t be fooled.

Well my guy seems to be a home body but goes out sometimes but I have a lot of female friends so I go out with them. I actually like that he is like that. My first husband always wanted to go out with me he got on my nerves because he was controlling and insecure. I wanted to go out with my female friends he wouldn’t allow me too that’s why God called his azz home.😇
