Last month, this mother of three was bear hugged from behind and slammed on her head by a suspected robber who followed her for 24 miles before carrying out the attack. Here are 3 bear hug defenses everyone should learn. 🙏🏼

@@lukehudson9684 I'm 5'8", about 165, definitely stronger than the average Joe, but nothing crazy. Even me goin up against some 6'2" 200 lb dude puts me at a huge disadvantage. Truth be told, for most women, they need to be remarkably skilled fighters to be able to stop a determined attacker, and unfortunately I don't think this gets conveyed enough to people today. I've heard too many women (and men) say, "O, I'd just go crazy in a fight," which, I learned after about 30 seconds of rolling with a skilled fighter, is not really a winning strategy. Turns out months of consistent practice is the only real defence against a strong determined aggressor.

Even then it won't work. You can't perform these unless you _already_ know there is a fight situation. Sport fighters always assume they know they are in this situation ahead of time, but sneak attack takes much more time to process the information. That time exceeds human reaction speed. Best move is learn how to fall, then get position once you realize you are being attacked.

@etchediniron4249
@etchediniron4249 Жыл бұрын
@@PerkoVVokreP the point is, crappy people that try to rob or hurt someone are looking for easy victims, they aren’t looking for a fight. So a little training (even for females) can learn and do enough to make these crooks scamper off when they’re not easy victims. There are plenty of self defense videos of women escaping attacks by intelligently defending themselves. You are correct acknowledging the the size and power differences. If you follow more of the training by the Gracie’s, you’ll find that they also acknowledge these differences and address how to handle that. That’s why there’s training available. The Gracie’s even acknowledge for men that how to win every fight is to avoid every fight as best you can. But sometimes you can’t avoid it, so some skill can come in pretty handy in those moments. There are also some tools people can use and train with to offset the power disparities in these cases. Either way, compliance is sometimes the best option bits it’s not always going to guarantee your safety. Not everyone is ok with just being a victim, some people are self defenders and will fight no matter what.

@@manealst7249 I'm 180-190lbs. I've been fighting guys in 220-280lbs range in Judo and in Krav and even on street couple of times. Big guys with no Judo && JJ or wrestling background were fairly easy to drop. If they are trained, it is shitshow. They are fairly slow though (with rare exceptions). On the ground, unless they are on top, they lose a lot of advantage and are still slow (unless they are very fit and in great shape.) The size is no doubt advantage especially if the guy is trained but, I've seen some really big guys getting beaten up really bad by much smaller guys. And that was in real fights. I taught my kids to fight me from back targeting my shins, knees and groin. I could commit and prevail especially because I was in good shape and trained but, it was definitely more work than just grabbing them while standing. Most people, especially big guys are not comfortable getting on the ground. Every confrontation is matter of odds. If you can't outrun or prevail, you want to try to buy time and get attention. Screaming and kicking has its merit.

Learn how to fight and defend yourself in the right. You can learn how to box and defend yourself at home by training. And do weight training. Everyone should learn how to defend themselves. But never attack only defend. And if someone attacks you beat them up and win. But if someone has a gun you can't just punch them you have to be smart. Know how to win and think things through to the end. And don't even take little crap from no one underhanded tactics. Defend yourself right away in the moment. Strategy is winning in plan before taking action so think things through.

Or just don't go out without your man or only go places with decent active security guards, not cameras...physical presence is very important....her reaction time may be too slow anyways, women don't live in the constant (don't catch me slipping vibe) most men do...and this defense tactic may just piss the attacker off, this he becomes more aggressive.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9 KJV He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 KJV And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3 KJV Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:25 KJV Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 KJV For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. Deuteronomy 4:39 KJV And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21 KJV Time is short. “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Isaiah 55:6 KJV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:7 KJV Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:42 KJV I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: Isaiah 45:5 KJV And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31 KJV He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18 KJV Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19 KJV Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Isaiah 45:22 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7 KJV And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 KJV But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Deuteronomy 4:29 KJV Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 2 Samuel 7:22 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

Few Judo techniques that would help as well. Maybe I am the only one because I have done Judo and Jujitsu for most of my life but I find a lot of use from both in combination. I would learn “falling ways” how to fall, it’s something that is learned in the beginning of Judo and drilled as a warmup. It creates that muscle memory, to a point where even unexpected falls are done much more safely and you transition into a position to defend yourself on the ground much faster. Falling ways literally saved my body from being much more injured, in Afghanistan an IED blast sent me flying about 5 meters into the air on landing naturally protected my spine and head. Another thing to drill are throws not all grabs from behind are the same as shown sometimes the attackers arms are in different positions. Sometimes they’re left more sometimes the right more. Common misconception about judo is is that we’re only effective if the opponent or attackers is wearing a jacket, but a well-trained Judoka can throw a person, regardless of whether they’re wearing a jacket or not whether they are tacking from the front or the back or the side.
