Great video, thank you! These seem like great exercises! Question: is it advisable to NOT do any of these exercises while having Subacromial Subdeltoid (SASD) Bursitis? The Bursitis is caused by what is known as pre os acromiale (bone spurs) and is a chronic condition. I would love to hear your input!

Hello Alyssa, it’s me again from the UK, the shoulder pain I have caused by any pressing is anterior, right shoulder only, it’s a nuisance because I could press more weight than I use and yet even the lighter weight brings about this anterior right shoulder pain, I will try the last exercise as advised by yourself

Hello, the overhead press is always a problem for my right shoulder, it’s ok for a short while and then!!! Here we go again, right shoulder plays up, all the other stuff is fine except for the overhead pressing, thanks from the UK!

Make sure to work up to the overhead press. The trick at the end of the video can help you progress :)

Excellent as always, I'll forward to hubby, he's into curling now, a past victim of rounded shoulders and getting over major and thumb surgeries for trigger finger, slow and steady wins the race of walking around properly, we're in Qc, no expat retire plans for me, that's for sissies 😉!❤

Hello Alyssa, during the third exercise for shoulders with weights I noticed that you did some with hands facing your head and some with your hands facing forward. Is one more beneficial than the other?
@marcelleohara86835 күн бұрын
@maryannequinn3465 I could have never done these before my shoulder surgery..now...there is no pain
@arthritisadventure5 күн бұрын
depends on how each feels for you, depending on mobility and/or presence of stiffness one variation may feel better than the other

Do you have a recommendation for a floor mat? All the ones I’ve seen are too thin. I need more cushion for floor exercises. Thank you!

I was told my rotator cuff has deteriorated. I don’t want replacement surgery. Will these exercises help?
@arthritisadventure3 күн бұрын
They may. It depends on your available range of motion and pain levels

I had a torn supraspinatus. I tried physical therapy and cortisone. Nothing worked and for 6 months I to sleep on the floor. Then I heard about prolotherapy. It was a miracle. After 3 treatments I felt as if I was cured; all of the pain disappeared.

I feel cracking feeling when I raise my left arm in 3rd exercise.

Noises are necessarily anything to worry about unless accompanied by significant pain. Reducing the range of motion can help too.

@@arthritisadventure Thank you. No pain! Just rusty I guess❣
