9:35 that is a lot of ground snow. In England, if we had anything like that today, the entire country would grind to a holt. Although it does look beautiful and I just want to jump in the middle of it, and make a snow angel.

Snow days are so needed this year! I hope we get one eventually! We got a big storm here, but it was over the weekend. 🤣 One year we were off an entire week for cold days! (-50!!)

We had 2 snow days and a delayed opening at the beginnings of the week due to 14 inches of snow (a lot for us), went back for a full day, and no school Friday due to an additional 5 inches. Ugh! We now need to make up those days in June.

I live in Cali. We never have snow days 😔. Do you make up those days at the end of the year?

Many school systems add days to the calendar to make up for the snow days. Usually it is three days. If it goes beyond that, various things can happen. You loose holidays, go to school on weekends, add days on to the year, or add minutes onto each day or a combination of those. Or the state can forgive those days and you do not have to make them up. My experience with that has been you have had over 7 days off because of weather. I have lived in Michigan, NY, WVA, and VA. Everyplace was similar, but also slightly different.
