Jady, thank you for putting our content that seems so simple, but is often overlooked or lost in todays day and age and has become profound to many, including myself. This is a great reminder of how active listening can completely change the conversation. Thank you!

Thanks Jady, I so needed this. It's good to watch how we might be sounding to our children when we think we are listening to them, but actually we're not properly listening. I'm going to really try my best to use the helpful tips in this video. Thank you so much and God bless. Xx

Sometimes I'm both 🙁 and im working on it sometimes I just get so overwhelmed but then I realize that they need much attention and I go and Apologize to my kids if I didn't listen to them.. but its something I also have to work on 🙁

Thank you! You’ve put a mirror in our faces to allow us to self reflect and adjust by applying these tips. I wouldn’t want to be dismissed like that and I’m sure our children feel like crap when we do it even if we mean well. Thank you.

I can say, I am listening to my daughter when she says she don't want to go martial arts as it is hard sometimes for her. For school, as it is making her scared of not obeying No to play. ( Homeschool now) I have listened to her for keeping a female puppy at home. She got parvo but we struggled with that and finally get her healthy too. Yes, there are lots of responsibilities come up when our children asks for something dearly. So as parents we should be ready to take that responsibility for the sake of their happiness. Because its childhood and the way it feels during this time may not happens when we grow up. .🥰

Thank you! Sometimes we are just focused on what we are doing in that particular time and we are really not listening and just giving the same advice just to let them go away 😢 sad but true! Thank you for reminding us the better choice

Thank you for this video! It’s so awesome how you focus on the simple truths of how to do something. It’s very wise and convicting for me. I never get fluff with your content just practical life skills that I cherish. I appreciate what you do and love your preschool books! My 3 year old is doing so well in learning his phonetic sounds because of you. 🥹
