Super secret tip: try overlaying a 1-hr ema on your CVD sub-window. You'd be amazed how much it gets respected..

In live trading we always use x1 speed, so training on x2 can be the wrong way, because your brain will learn wrong patterns of velocity change. But for the purpose of this video I understand. Thanks for the tips, Richard!

Ty for this video ! Can you make a video for how to use JigSaw dom and at the same time Tradovate ? And a video how set our screen ? (Which chart, time frame and indicators) ? Ty for all your work !

Jigsaw 'and' Tradovate? Why not just use Jigsaw, Atas, or SierraChart and do everything in one program?
@raijin8926 ай бұрын
@@DJsTeLF JigSaw have the best dome but the market profile is poor. Tradovate is better. I have my answer from the support. You can have 2 sessions on the same time open (1 JigSaw + 1 Tradovate)

1-20 or less of the trades are waterfalls like this, looks like a chase the breakout or in this fact breakdown scenario. I might have missed where it was explained how to identify the unique time of chasing this trade at such a bad premium.

How do you spot passive buyers on the footprint?
@DJsTeLF6 ай бұрын
By definition, you would see seller delta getting absorbed at a particular price or range.
@MrOrderFlowOfficial6 ай бұрын
You can’t see passive orders on the footprint. The footprint is market orders only. You would need a heat map or DOM to determine how much is resting at each price
@DJsTeLF6 ай бұрын
@@MrOrderFlowOfficial Passive 'orders' can only be seen on L2 but for every transactione there's one aggressive trader and one passive. Hence my previous comment about passive 'buyers' holds true.

04:07 These guys execute so bad that I came into conclusion that execution is not the reason I'm not profitable enough. That's gotta be scenario building. I mean, come on, after the first push why he tried to hit the bid like that (and then again for 2 lot position, but going back to 1 lot and then AGAIN hitting the bid on the way down, lowering his avg price). He could just wait for the pullback to .92
@caiobortoli7 ай бұрын
Holy mother I just watched the "adding on the position" bit. It's just annoying how he doesn't even wait for a pullback. It's just "omg there's the push I'm gonna hit just right after it at the lows, nvm lack of liquidity on the ask after the push will suck price back some 5 ticks"
@zojpz7 ай бұрын
How do you know if there is a pullback? It is helpful to understand that velocity increases as you drop down and when it rotates back up either velocity slows down, gets stuck or any increase in velocity leads to failure to the downside. You need to realize that he is using a replay of tradovate feed with jigsaw just one way of trading the move while simultaneously explaining whats going on. The reason you are not profitable is because you have a need to be absolutely perfect in a stage in your career where you just need to be good enough to be profitable and so you get stuck on things that don't really matter at this point on your career.
@hansotto9057 ай бұрын
If you trade breakouts you use liquidity cause you expect the market is moving fast without major pullbacks. If you trade reversals you give liqudity in form of limit orders.
