In reference to what you said about the stop set at 1 tick about the initial entry, I find that it's useful to do this when you are sitting in a reversal kind of move to let the trade play out because now you know that no matter what you will profit on this trade. You can allow it to have room to play out how you think it will go.
@gmt4258 ай бұрын
No because you’re just trading your pnl at that point. Exit the trade when the reason for entering is invalidated. You want no other reason.

It's a counter trend trade..depending on yr. time factor, but that's what it looks like. Valid, but you'll need really heavy duty buying. Right now we don't know whether it is simply closing out shorts, right? Delta is fine, but it is delayed info and contains back and forth trades. I think Time and Sales will show you the agression much clearer. At least that's what I use.

If you wait your too late , they are all ready in... Don't look at the order book ,indicators or any numbers except for time and price. Just look at the candles they will tell you all that's needed.

What do you think moves price if it's not the order book and delta..?
@fvb13698 ай бұрын
You can view the order book and delta as an indicator and ask yourself , would price move without the indicator? Yes, Price is a reflection of time , time that that algorithm behind price books up and down to be efficiently delivered. It doesn't know where your stop is , it doesn't have to know as it ( reprices to old highs / lows * and beyond to grab liquidity and or reprices to inefficiëntcy / gaps that exist within the algorithms delivery to be efficiently delivered. All people that tell you otherwise have no clue of how an automated market maker books , they tell you fairy tail stories. Do not buy into that an amm does not care for your order book it moves regardless and it's 100 ÷ controlled to the tick. There is no need to blur your chart with nonsense, just look at time and price.

@@fvb1369 Order book is just raw market auction, is not an indicator. Delta is a formula that calculates the difference between bid and ask size, like candles are just a formula that takes into account opening price, highest price, lowest price and closing price within a pre-defined range (timeframe). Price and time are just marketing potentially new auctions where buyers and sellers agree or not uppon a set of prices. Liquidity grabs are completely subjective and are not in any way, shape or form predicting any shit. There are a ton of nuances that are taken into account, in any capital market, that decides where the actual price needs to be (based just on supply and demand, which is very diversed because there are participants who base solely on fundamentals, there are participants which are solely based on tehnicals). AMM's are just automated market making models that are based entirely on algorithms to offer liquidity for the participants. This is not any black magic or manipulation, just the way a modern market opperates. Before you reply confident with an answer based on 0 research, think twice, because there are people who may trust a youtube comment. Have a good day!

@@fvb1369 The order book shows the very thing that moves price. Buyers and sellers. The order book and delta aren't indicators, it's the raw data of resting limit orders and aggressive market participants, who interact with each other to move price up or down. There is not one "Algorithm" that moves price up or down. Everything you see on a candlestick chart happens because of how buyers and sellers interact. That's it. You've really drunk the ICT Koolaid
