WOW I was amazed by the first Restaurant with choosing all kinds of food curries on a lotus leaf was amazing I would love to try all of them... the semosa is similar to Arabic fatayer that are filled with ground beef & onions... looks similar but sure different spices probably... delicious ... all food looks so delicious last one rice bread was interesting... that was a lot of food for one day but worth eating.... Nice lady Rozaina ... I had so much fun watching ... enjoy the rest of the journey Mac.. much love🥰

'Nelum Kole' or 'Nelum Kolaya' means 'Lotus Leaf'.. You can find lot of restaurants here with the same name randomly because with a agriculturally developed culture mostly people in the past used to eat their meals offered on the lotus leaves while in the paddy fields. We mostly use banana leaves for the same thing in day to day lives & still we can find those lotus leaves in the restaurants as a tourist attraction both foreign & local.
