@@maxxmcnall Dope!! Definitely spend the extra few bucks on the epoxy to keep those nuts in place, best of luck!
@maxxmcnall2 жыл бұрын
@@TheBruSho I wouldn’t cut corners to save a few extra bucks in this case considering how much each shank and faucet cost. Do you recommend Inter Tap? That’s the one I went with over Perlick, from what I’ve heard the difference is minor and the savings are significant

@@maxxmcnall yeah I’ve had both and I would go intertap if your working with a budget

I'm wondering how well it would work out to rig some upcycled beer bottles - perfect for the clone recipes!
@TheBruSho2 жыл бұрын
Interesting idea! I’d imagine it’s possible, especially if you put the nut in the opening of the bottle, but then the bottle would be upside down..

Really like the way you used the nut and glued it in. I used the brass insert and it was too soft and stripped the out side tread screwing it in to the hard wood. I ended up glueing it in with liquid nails. So good call using the metal nuts. Cheers mate.😎👍

If you mess up and get any glue or epoxy on the inside of the nut you can just buy a 3/8 -16 tap and run it through to clean out the threads. Good as new!
