The local brewery is on a brook with beaver ... the beaver leave perfect size sticks with gnaw mark patterns ... It'l be easy to make a couple. .... and I'll barter for beer 😁

This video came at the PERFECT time and is actually super helpful! That vial tap handle is so sick...I'll be scouring the internet looking for 4 of those to build my own. Great video!

@@maxxmcnall Dope!! Definitely spend the extra few bucks on the epoxy to keep those nuts in place, best of luck!

@@TheBruSho I wouldn’t cut corners to save a few extra bucks in this case considering how much each shank and faucet cost. Do you recommend Inter Tap? That’s the one I went with over Perlick, from what I’ve heard the difference is minor and the savings are significant

Nice! I've had the fittings for a while, maybe this is the motivation I need to get it done! I like the tube idea and layer the malt from the batch! Cheers!

Michael Scott would have a field day with this video! Great idea with the nut. I have seen those other brass inserts but like you mentioned, you have to buy a whole bag worth. Keep up the great work!

Interesting idea! I’d imagine it’s possible, especially if you put the nut in the opening of the bottle, but then the bottle would be upside down..

Really like the way you used the nut and glued it in. I used the brass insert and it was too soft and stripped the out side tread screwing it in to the hard wood. I ended up glueing it in with liquid nails. So good call using the metal nuts. Cheers mate.😎👍

I am going to 3d print a baby Yoda and put a tap on it. The Nukatap minis are M6 sized so I will try to make a mini tap with a mini Yoda/Grogu.

If you mess up and get any glue or epoxy on the inside of the nut you can just buy a 3/8 -16 tap and run it through to clean out the threads. Good as new!

I’ve had a keg stay good for a year. But in a lot of cases beer is best drank quickly.
