There are plenty of relationships that go south from men not giving their lady the attention they need and they get way too comfortable letting themselves go and assuming their wife cant do better. Lots of competition out there. Ever see the neighbor guy checking out or even talking to your wife when you were doing something with your beer gut hanging out, your beard all long and disheveled and your overall messy appearance? I had a couple neighbors like this where their wives would come talk to me, make comments and even invite me into their house to check on some sort of plumbing issue or something while their husband was away. My wife trusted me but I made sure I came over with one of my Daughters to see what the problem was….usually I could tell it was a set up just to get me over there. Women also like the thrill of the chase. A married man is more of a motivator than a single guy that is eager for attention. Chicks love to start crap.

I've been happily married for 21 years, so I'm not looking for any romantic attachment. I watched this because romantic relationships are not the only reason that you want to make a good impression with woman. Even if they don't want romance, women still like attractive men, just like I still like attractive women. It never hurts to be liked! A lot of what you say about grooming and clothes is basic, but I see you also do have some subtle observations. I'm still continuing to up my game in the grooming and dress. It really does up peoples impression of you in a noticeable way. They may not notice that perfect manicure or that your jacket is Harris tweed, but they will get the general impression that you are put together. The nodding is good, but I'm not so sure about the head to toe look. I don't want to give the wrong impression, but if I was single ... Yes, it is a great test! Hey, I still flirt with my wife. I'm sure she'd love some butterflies! I agree with what you say about apologizing. When we first got married, my wife kept doing that, and it is annoying! Fortunately, she broke that habit! However, I think apologizing and admitting that you're wrong when appropriate is a strength. People who never apologize or admit that they are wrong seem very weak to me, but I know not everybody agrees with me on this. Obviously, you do agree. I do like the idea of changing the apologies to thank you. I'm in sales, and it's all about framing! Thank you for taking the time to read through this!

Thank you for the wisdom in finding a solid relationship. I lost my wife of 26 years to COVID. I will fly to the Philippines next week to visit a lady who is a widow and has been doing daily WhatsApp video chats for several months. She is 54. nice looking, a little overweight, super attractive inner person. One key thing I look for in a woman for marriage is when her friends make statements about her like This is a woman of high character, or This is a quality woman. That catches my attention. If people do not give testimony of their friend, their sister, their daughter, or their mother, I suspect there is something to be aware of. If this Filipina proves to be the one, we will be hiking & scuba diving around the world for as many years as God gives us.

Exactly. What our host is describing here is from her limited frame of reference. Her approach may work for many or even most, but some not at all. I approached things as you do. Before I met my wife now, and after my first nightmare, I unfortunately had a number of situations that did not work. The one thing i did not do, and is my advice to any man reading this, NEVER EVER DO IT HER WAY. There is some thing to gleam from this video. But like this gentleman posted, DO IT YOUR WAY. Any woman you date, know your key elements you want. Today, and I know 100% from experience, women absolutely want to dominate. As a believer in traditional values (our host here I sense has a different version of that) I make judgements on tge viability of the relationship by my agenda. Not hers. End of story.,

Just re-watched this. #3 epiphany. And it's so logical it's really scary. Glad you are on our side Anna. Don't know why I never made this connection consciously. #3 explains why it is so damaging when you look away when you get caught checking out a woman. She doesn't think "shy", she thinks either disinterested or no confidence. So, inversed logically, if you ham it up a little, or even just have a wry smile and wink, she doesn't just think you are interested, she thinks you are confident. I have lived that out so many times in my youth, cursed myself for looking away many times. But now, it's not just a solution (never look away if you like her), but a strategy to move forward. The 'ham it up' you choose could win the moment. Wink at her and get up and moonwalk. (or equivalent) But maintain eye contact with her when you do it, smile. Once you get attention and start some amusement, chemistry flows. Laughing is a stimulant. Endorphins and Adrenalin. Now there's a let's get together cocktail.

You are interested. It is okay to do that. In my (new) world it is okay to do that... A woman also needs these moments of attention: "Do men still notice me?" She can decide for herself if she wants to look at men to see if she is being noticed. If she wants peace for herself then she just will not check and look around if a man/men is checking on her... It is that simpel.

I learned that long ago. Women fall for the good bad boy. They like a man who is rough on others, but kind to them. Makes them feel like a queen around a king. I used that for my benefit. Then I came to Christ and changed. Now I keep it in my pants and go about my life. Eternity is forever and God doesn't accept fornicators or the unloving, unkind.

Heck with that. I'm no fashonista. My clothes are clean and fit me the way that I'm comfortable. Giving up on life - no. Giving up on trying to satisfy the never-ending list that women have on men - yes. Too many women think showing so much skin or skintight clothing is what honest men are looking for. Looks are fleeting though being clean and otherwise being healthy looking is a somewhat major requirement. The world does not revolve around women nor are they princesses by any means. Women who are based in reality backed by facts are the ones we men are looking for. The Chads and Tyrones are the ones looking for the other women. At least for a hook-up anyways.

The "check out" is a winner. It's my preferred MO, and it's worked for me many times. I've actually tried to teach it to my buddies. This works best with a group of friends. Keep notice of the door. When an attractive woman walks in that you might be interested in, make SURE that she catches you looking her up and down briefly with that "Mmm, mmm" look. Then, casually look away, turn back to your friends, start talking to them, and just ignore her. By doing this, you've created a win/win situation for her. She knows you're interested, but you aren't pursuing her, putting her on the defensive. It also makes you look good because you don’t appear desperate, raising your social value in her eyes. If she's interested, she'll usually walk over eventually and start a conversation with YOU. This works. I've had many women come to me and start the conversation.
@Lonstermash2 жыл бұрын
Also, you mentioned something about relationships always needing "tension," but I've had a good deal of flings/relationships that lasted anywhere from 2 months to 2 years that involved no tension. What they did involve, however, was a huge physical attraction on both ends before either of us even opened up our mouths, and or they really liked my sense of humor, and or we had a lot of shared interests and values, and they really liked how I had my shit together from the time I was in my mid 20s (51 now). We played no games and each genuinely wanted to be in a healthy relationship. Now, maybe if I created "tension" with the many other women who had no interest after one date, I would have gone further with them, as well, but from what I understand from other supposed dating coaches is that you create tension by doing things that are akin to when little boys pull the hair of little girls, via back handed compliments and playful jabs at women. And that's just not my style. For example, I've been told that if you meet a woman, and she tells you she's an actress, you should then reply, "Oh, so you mean you're unemployed." Or if she's not exactly skinny, you should say something like, "I actually like women who are thick with wide hips, so I hope you don't lose weight." Smh.
@x-man50562 жыл бұрын
So at the end of those relationships, no tension? Saying this: "I actually like women who are thick with wide hips, so I hope you don't lose weight." to most women who are seemingly always concerned about their weight is so wrong. I like curvy women myself but you are saying to them in specifics that you like what they often despise. That's just not a good strategy. "I like you just the way you are" leave out the wide hips/thick stuff, you are telling them. There are few things more difficult than convincing a voluptuous woman that she's fine (body wise), and you prefer her just like she is. Instead of being appreciative of a man who likes her the way she is, she my think you a weirdo for it (faced that a few times), though the body positive movement as helped some in that regard. I haven't found a male dating coach I can tolerate for more than a few minutes. Most of them make me want to barf. They always seem to degrade into macho bravado dick measuring contestants. Some dude driving around in a McClaren bragging about all his masterful way with women but if you put him in a Corolla he'd go home alone most of the time. That guy (and those similar) are ZERO help to the average guy who punches a clock and/or drives a pickup truck. Bump it.
@Lonstermash2 жыл бұрын
@@x-man5056 nope, no tension, unless you consider frequent bickering over silly issues to be "tension." And with my two best relationships, by far, there was no such bickering.....we just realized we were incompatible due to different life goals. I agree with you, hence why I've never been able to bring myself to give a woman a comment like that just to create initial tension and show her I'm not the "typical ass kisser she's used to" (which is why the so called dating experts recommend that we men say such things)
@x-man50562 жыл бұрын
@@Lonstermash So-called is right. When you initially meet someone, "body talk" shouldn't be brought up I think. If she brings it up, be very selective with your choice of words. It's a thin ice subject to be left for discussion after you have some sort of a thing going first, IMO. I've never had to "try to create tension" in a relationship. Tension is a little sparsely defined here. Sexual tension yes, but otherwise, tension never seems to need help from me. The "typical ass kisser she's used to", sounds like something the McClaren guy would say. Same guy she woman complains about would be a real Romeo to her if he was handsome and/or wealthy. Don't kid yourself.
@Lonstermash2 жыл бұрын
@@x-man5056 yes, and no regarding your last comment. I'm considered very handsome and in fantastic shape by many women, and I make over 6 figures, yet I get friend zoned almost half the time on first dates (especially ones I meet from dating sites), and when I try to start a conversation with a woman at a bar, night spot, or the gym, talking as a regular person (no simpy ass kissing OR, as the so called experts recommend, back handed compliments), I barely get the time of day much of the time. And my older brother IS super wealthy, 6 ft 4, and still good looking at 60, and he has similar bad results
@x-man50562 жыл бұрын
@@Lonstermash 6 figure could be $999k or 100K. that's a huge difference that makes a difference. The average $200K guy is not driving a super car I'd guess. But you can only rely on looks as a door opener. If you have a $500k income you can be generous without simping, but if it looks like you are trying to buy affection that's a red flag for her if she's high value, but for many others, fine. So you've got looks and you've got money. Query yourself for being too high minded. Not an accusation, just a guess.

As far as eye contact is concerned, I have noticed something about photos of women wearing face masks. The only three things I perceive coming out of their eyes are confusion, anger, and fear. For eye contact to work properly, it would appear that the entire face must be exposed. For the time being, we have no choice other than to use this as a possible learning experience, unless I'm wrong. My hypothesis can be tested by your commenters, Anna, if you do an entire video while wearing a mask. But no cheating allowed: don't try to force different emotions and feeling out of your eyes to avoid emotions and feelings of confusion, anger, and fear while wearing the mask.

It's a personal thing. A lot of people actually enjoy wearing masks and are comfortable with other covered people. I personally think masks are creepy, but necessary in certain situations we find ourselves in at the unfortunate present time. Where I live, most people wear masks outdoors. They look like giant insects walking on their hind quarters wearing clothes while they access their mobile devices. And I'm not so sure about the accuracy of "the eyes are the window to the soul." There's a lot of truth there, but I once had a good friend who was totally blind. I never had any trouble perceiving his emotions and feeling. But this was long before mask days arrived. Anna, once again a great weekly segment. I’ve been a subscriber for quite a while. I have a topic you may be able address. Seems that many middle aged women (40’s+) still feel as much SMV (market value) as when they were in their 20’s, and often have more baggage and greater limitations, yet often even higher expectations of when they were younger. The Better Bachelor describes this well from a man’s point of view. You have commented recently about his podcasts. I’m an early 50’s middle class, called handsome though average joe looking in reality, clean cut, full head of hair, teddy bear frame, homeowner with a career, goals and nearly a millionaire, just not ready to retire. Maybe I need a better internet match profile, or something. Maybe it’s just the south Florida way of life. Is there a way to neutralize this false level of hypergamy among those that just don’t have the same ass,ets from 20 yrs ago.? Yet of course in a tasteful way that resonates to a mutual appreciation of each other.

If women mirror your feeling/emotional state I think you would do well to reflect your own back to them(even if they are 40+) by simply STATING a genuine "Ouch" when (ideally) in the BEGINNING of the relationship they start "projecting" a list of impossible (if not, at least unrealistic) standards onto you. It may be they were raised to believe they were incapable of being denied every single wish of their heart and no one has ever bothered to tell them that's not part of the real world. Hope you find something here useful, as was intended.

Dating advice is a waste of time. The reason why is because it puts the man in a position where he is selling in order to get a woman to buy the social contract. The problem is that the selling can't stop, even if successful. If a woman has to be convinced through a hard sell to date a man, she's never going to be satisfied either with him or his efforts in the relationship and will induce misery through endless sh!t testing. If a woman isn't seriously attracted to you from the onset, you're wasting your time, your energy, and your money. Eye contact, confidence BS's, etc..just noises and virtual signaling! Imagine you're short, fat and ugly = being confident, keeping eye contact with a women is called being creepy...if a tall and good looking men don't need to do all that. When it comes to mate selection, women are very brutal and visual - they don't want to admit it.

These 'reasons' to quickly reject someone may be why the divorce rate is 50% or why the majority of relationships are short-lived. Women are too quick to judge when they don't really know the man & aren't thinking about what creates happiness in the long run. Sad!

It definitely isn't an easy situation but the focus needs to be on doing what is truly best 🙏

Here's the one thing you do to appeal to women: dress and act like you don't give a shit....oh, and one more little thing, have a 7-figure bank account.

I’m way past my prime and very happily married, but back in the day (70s -90s) women were constantly initiating conversations with me. In bars, on the subway, fast food joints and restaurants. I love talking to women..it’s one of life’s greatest pleasures. But I was so clueless that I didn’t even realise many of these women ever flirting with me..doh 😅. For years I just believed that women were naturally friendly. Now I’m married to a woman who possses the biggest, kindest heart, and the greatest smile I’ve ever met. I sometimes wonder what the hell she sees in me, but always grateful and humbled that we are so perfect together. But I still love having conversations with women..they’re just so interesting.

She'll instantly notice and will judge you (men) if you're: 1) Short (Height) 2) Broke 3) Dusty 4) Fat 5) Awkward 6) Lazy 7) Shy 8) Ugly 9) Nice guy 10) Too skinny 😉👍

Anne, I love these videos. We men are dogs and need to know the other perspective. My first girlfriend was nuts on....forearms. I know, but there you have it. I'm classical guy, I love stockings and skirts on a woman. My woman loves forearms. What women really love.....confidence and a BMW. Not picking your nose is a bonus after those two big boys.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I've talked about forearms in another video and in a new video coming up! Nose picking....LOL

@@YourWingmam Ya gotta leave them smiling. When you are only 5'8" tall you have to perform like a pocket battleship and punch WAAAY above your weight. being a 'wee guy' means getting the turbo afterburner on charm because the tall guys just breeze in and grab the gal. Watch women looking at tall guys, it's like some genetic 'well hello ladies', meanwhile I'm jumping on a trampoline next to him!

I wear a kilt every day and the ladies love it! Nuff said
@scottmurray56002 жыл бұрын
I find the same. BUT.....when the ladies have been having a wee sherry their confidence and nosiness can lead to what women call, 'upskirters'. Boy, do you need a pair of balls to ride that one out.

Hello. I just finished watching this video and what stood out for me and you didn't mention, is before a guy gets dressed and before a shave and a shower, he needs to iron his clothes. Pants should have a sharp crease and a shirt should be ironed also. Shoes need to be shined before anything else gets done even if it's a casual pair. I work with my hands and like you mentioned my fingernails and hands are clean when I go out. I make stained glass windows both church and civilian (restaurant and front doors, etc)and it is dirty work but when done, they are something I'm proud of and feel good about. Just like how I feel when I'm dressed up. As a veteran Marine. the Corps was one place along with my Italian grandfather that I was taught to look sharp and stand up straight and be confident in how I looked. I'll have been married for forty years in December, and I won't let my wife iron for me. I'll iron her clothes if she wants, she usually doesn't but she knows not to ask if she can do it for me because, and I'll sound like a jerk when I say this, no thanks I do it better. LOL.

Great advise. I compare dating in the USA like having a second job. You are always studing about the latest way to win over a woman and the months of hard work to finally win the prize. International dating is when you meet 100's of beautiful women that really want to be with you and the tables are turned as to where the women are actively chase you.

I am trying to develop some of these skills and its slowly coming together. I was dancing with a lady the other night and tried a teasing line. She was brunette with a dyed blond streak over her forehead. I had to pep myself up first but I said, 'I like what you have done with your hair.' She thanked me, and I followed up with 'It's just too bad I'm more into redheads.' Her response; she laughed and complimented my dancing skills. I replied that 'These are only my vertical dance moves.' This has been a real sticking point for me and to get a positive response was liberating.

You taught me a lot about the psychology of the eyes in this video. I noticed every positive interaction I had with the ladies in Thailand started with the eyes.

I like your presentation style and vocalization. Yours points seem sort of reasonable also. The Eye stuff caught my attiention as eye contact made more than one woman turn back and get to know me. I never knew this sort of stuff in the day and just had to go on my feelings. It was fun to be young and ignorant.

I don't apologize unless it's legit. If I'm late, and I was once, I say "I appreciate your understanding and patience" After-all, I'm evaluating the woman to see if she's worthy of me. I'm not arrogant, but I do know that I'm confident, a good man and a good catch.
