Not too long ago I was heading back to my car and as I walked by a boutique that had some dresses outside, I noticed a woman looking through them. I walked by, I smiled and said, "It doesn't matter which one you choose, you are going to make it look amazing!" She looked at me, tilted her head and with a big smile said, "Thank you." I smiled back, got in my car and left. Always try to make another person's day a little brighter.

Well said. I'm short, bald, & poor. I'm ok with it, however, I get multiple insults/day from women or, guys will comment making sure there are women in the audience for a good laugh. If I compliment a woman, they either laugh or call security. Maybe that worked in the roaring 20's... in today's world..if in the workplace, that will end up in a lawsuit plus termination & outside of the workplace, it will get you kicked out of an establishment or a court date. My experience...never, ever compliment a woman.

@@t.l.7733 Don't even think about dating women from work. It's a bad idea from moment 1. Just don't. You are NOT going to get a court date just from complimenting a woman. You lack confidence and are sabotaging yourself. You fear rejection. You shouldn't. Rejection from any random woman is just a Nat landing on your ear. It is only by going out and getting those rejections that you improve your game and confidence. Success will come through repetition and self improvement. I am 59 and turning 60 this year and am a good looking guy with lots of charm but always willing to learn more! I consider myself a student of life, I am a widower and surviving partner. When I lost my mate I was devastated. I have gotten back to being myself and I am back in the dating game. Women come on to me quite frequently my entire life, I have been one of the lucky guys but still to find true love is challenging. I have set my sight on a lovely 62 year old widow who I believe is still single after over a decade. I am going to speak with her in two weeks and thankfully I found your words of wisdom or I surely would have been a ‘Simp’ in her eyes. I like to hold back on the compliments to differentiate myself from other guys. Many (most) women, and people with hedonistic tendencies are into the chase - they seek to be desired. Once they get it, they loose interest. So never satiate her with compliments or validation - always leave her wanting more. Give her compliments but not enough to satiate her self esteem- get her to seek your approval by withholding it.

I think one of the biggest things you touched on is humor. Something I like about myself is the ability to engage humor with the women in my life , and when I’ve genuinely told them they’re “funny” I’ve been amazed at how consistently they are truly flattered and appreciative. I’ve frequently been told “no man has ever told me I’m funny before.” The key is sincerity and listening and tuning in to a person’s rhythm of humor. Thanks as always for your work in putting together your videos.

Something that I have become more aware of lately is feelings. The way our words effect others to trigger feelings. So someone who can be fully aware of this, from both sides, of feeling and causing feelings, will really rule and reign as the ideal companion. People will always want to be around someone who makes them feel good and feel good about themselves. Someone that makes them have hope for the future that is genuine. Only being made aware of this later in life, I can look back at how I have used this against me. First to put it forth in one sentence... "People remember how you made them feel, so when they remember you they remember feelings you caused." Or TRIGGERED that they blame you for! So always be kind, be genuine and be encouraging. Be amusing and entertaining too with confidence. Confidence is something that is attractive and encouraging to most as well. That is people in general are drawn to those who look like and feel like they know what they are doing. Looking back, I can see where I have been nervous, and said things that were causing doubt instead of putting forth confidence. I can see where the way I have made or triggered feelings in others has resulted in distaste even when not meant to be. While people want truth, they don't want the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Just nudges of words here and there. Too many and it's felt as taking over. People like to be heard and have others listen with interest. To let them speak and be given time. And of course being genuine in your heart, smiling in your eyes, always being kind, polite and respectful. Other things to note. Being critical and talking about putting things down is a turn off. Speak of things that make people feel good about things. Share experiences that make them wish they were there to feel it too in a positive way. Keep interactions short and sweet and they will be wanting more. So don't give much away, and keep a lot for later... bread crumbs that bring delight... as you busily pass bye... less is more... master feelings and knowing cause and effect of them and what feelings your words are causing... in your past, and present... using hindsight to learn how you messed up with them in the past and how you can do better. Words and feelings cause and effect. Master these and you truly are a master of human nature.

The retiring compliment - yes, as Wingman advices women as use to being hit on the time and threatened... I have worked with enough survivors of violence: seen a few buried. So this approach ensures the woman's feels safe and can except the compliment as intended. The twist is that it teaches you to master a reassuring demeanour so within a week or two you can do the same standing next to them. And again, as Wingman advises adjust your focus on the environment. Eg, with an older women it may be a broach, and with an adolescent their breasts - think of your teenage niece who actually looks to the senior males in their family for reassurance - they'll practice flerting with you as you are the protector. I have dealt savagely with those who were suppose to protect. When my dearest friend and most lovely friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, I quoted from her favourite movie the Princess Bride "There are a shortage of perfect breast in the world it be a pity to damage yours". Apparently I was the only one able to say such - she did have the most gorgeous breasts ... which in turn gave others permission to empathise with her deepest fears. It is not always about courting but much more important

I tried to give you a complement a couple of weeks ago without sounding creepy. lol . I was wondering, how many women must be grateful for the advice that you give to men. Then I was wondering how many women who must dislike you for telling men their tricks out of the play book. Watching you it seems that you are a very strong woman through life experiences, but yet I think that there might be a small fault in that granite front. Now I'm old enough to be your father, okay well maybe your much older brother, but I just wanted to say, if that was the case where some women bring you down just remember this. You're doing a good thing. You're doing a real good thing. Keep it up. Because so many men have given up on themselves that you bring a new refreshing light of hope into their lives. Yes, you're doing a real good thing. Thank you for that. With respect. Ed

I always appreciate finding your videos in the massive feed. Catching new ones, or ones that I missed can be a treat. As for this video, I guess I've been doing some of this for years but modified. I knew a lot of very physically attractive women in College and University. It's more important that she have personality and, I guess an essence(?) or who she is(?) I'm not putting it well. I've NEVER had a problem chatting up and flirting with those ladies because I already see they are attractive and I am much more into getting to know who they are. It seems to shock quite a few women when they find out that I find them more interesting in that way. I also can make comments, that they brush off, but make other people cringe. keep up the good work!

I also value your keeping your self pretty and attractive even though you are middle age (I am guessing) some women when they are in their 30s and 40s just let their looks just fall off . Women can be beautiful which adds to everyone’s life. But when they look like an Ape this dulls everyone’s life. Thank you for all your work in your videos, It no doubt helps a lot of people. Hey sis from another mother of course ... my compliment to you today is your hairstyle is practical and elegant because your hair looks long and also short I like how your hair tugs and tapers under your jawline ... you have the right amount of energy and presentation when you’re helping men to become better at dating I respect your effort and I’m glad you mentioned God ... when I give compliments whether they are hot or homely there is always something good to say and I’m always sincere when I say it is I flirt with people even when I’m not trying to get something from them sexually we all need to be acknowledged and admired socially ... my wife is beautiful and I always told her from the first time we were together and every time after that she was so beautiful and I could not marry anyone better... but she is gone for unknown reasons... however I am so gorgeous that I pray that I will not go on wasted before I leave this earth... I want my wife but being practical I will move on when the time is smooth and appropriate ... if women appear to expect compliments for their known attributes I look for other ways if they deserve compliments I never go for the obvious ... I do not need your help but I respect your helping others see you or listen to you next week ... be good or be good at it ALOHA

Hi Anna - great topic - alot of nuance required. You briefly touched on a sub-topic - when a women is asking you for a compliment. To take it a step further, in the past, I have had women who turned me down for a date....come back to me "later" , looking for me to either compliment her or "lift her spirits" (we were in same social circle as friends or co-workers). Was never sure if she was checking out to see if I was still interested (did she make a mistake saying "no"?) or was she being mean-spirited or something else. Regardless, I would give the compliment or advice and let things be...so will never know. If I only had Wingmam back then. :)

In my life's experience, the worst thing I ever did was take dating advice from women -- the worst one was, "stop trying so hard to find love, the right girl will find you" (that just led to a lost decade of dick-in-hand). However, now having a few decades of experience with women, I can sincerely say the advice given in this video is very much spot-on. I would say she either has professional knowledge of the subject matter or is very well read, not merely drawing from her life experience (she doesn't base her assertions on just personal anecdotes as some others who claim to be dating experts do). Unfortunately, I am at the stage of my life where I finally realized that "love" was merely an illusion. It is nothing more than a "bubble". If you are one of the incredibly lucky few, you may be able to mutually share that bubble for life, but for the rest of us, you will spend half your life trying to find that special someone, then fall in love (or not), put your mind, body, heart, and soul into that person, and in the end.... wind up with NOTHING but bitterness, hatred, and wrinkles.

Sad but true. That is why after the 1st one I don’t give her my all. I have needs too and if someone is not willing to give and take I can take care of myself. Step 1 of complimenting without being a creep - Hit the gym, improve your posture, lose all that extra fat around your torso and bulk up your shoulders - take as long as it takes to do that. Once you achieve that, every compliment you give a woman will be genuine & credible and NOT CREEPY.
