Very cool video! The spring clip/paracord tip is gold.

I like the backpack for your dog. I'm always ready to evacuate I even have a little life jacket for my cat in case of flooding.

great tip with the paracord & tactical pouch. I’ve never seen that before.

Thanks for the common sense suggestions. This gives practicality to my art, may I never have to actually use it. Please consider techniques using other pressure points. CV and legs.

I always have glow sticks. Great to have.

So everyone knows where you are? I don't find them very useful for most situations, it's not like they can be turned on, and off like a flashlight, but you do you.
@william.maclennan90613 жыл бұрын
@@wesman7837 You make a good point. They are not like flash lights. I pack mine in with my first aid kit and other kits. If I have to do first Aid and the injury is passed my training. I crack one open.

Hi William. Maclennan! You do have a great point about the glow sticks. They're good for signaling (there are also IR ones we used in the military for "invisible" marking) but they can't be turned off. However - as you stated - they're perfect as a backup for a flashlight in a medical kit. I carry one in my IFAK, not just for signaling, but if I'm treating an injury and my flashlight fails (because let's face it, they DO fail!), then the chemlite is at least there to break and use as a backup. They definitely have their uses... but must be considered from a tactical perspective also when it comes to bugging out. Thanks for your input.

Great tip on the paracord pouch. I'm not sure if it's something I personally will need but I'll definitely keep it in mind. It's a great idea.

Make things easy. Put the cord through the hole first and then the spring clip.
@Warrior3 жыл бұрын
If you mean to have the spring clip on the outside of the pouch Tim, I tried that first. Problem was that the paracord kept feeding out of the pouch and hanging down. Am I reading you right on this one? I may be overlooking something so let me know. Thanks.

Yes that was my thought. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

I have watched several of your videos today. What bag are you using for your bug out bag?

Hey Jeff, do you have any videos on how you set up your personal Bug Out Bags? I am a Warrior Life subscriber and haven't checked your videos so I thought I would ask

Hey there WTF! Yeah... the best one would be the one here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKrbk5trfceqh9E. I'm currently working on a half-day workshop on this topic as well as a book because I think most people (as I'm sure you know from your own military experience) aren't looking at "gear" the right way. The gear is planned out the way it is in our Operations Orders... based on the mission. Thanks for reaching out WTF!

@@Warrior Thank you so much, I actually did watch the video you suggested and will definitely save it as I did purchase 3 of your B.O.B. bags but will have to purchase 3 of the "Bugout Roll" Integrated Micro-Organization MOLLE Packs as they weren't available when I purchased the 3 B.O.B.'s. Last question, will you be doing any future videos on setting up this exact bag w/the micro-organization MOLLE packs with items that you use? I have your checklist but it would be interesting to see which pouches on your bag you use for certain items and what items you place where. Just a suggestion, thank you for responding back, it is much appreciated, your website and products are game changers and I want to extend my gratitude for all you do for us as moderate preppers/survival minded individuals.

I could not find a listing of the contents of your bug out bag on your site. Please list or put on a link. Thanks.

After living in the country for many years I would question where are you going to go to bug out? Will you be welcome? Country people are not city people. They have a different mind set. They are likely self sufficient for themselves. A horde of people walking down a country road wanting food and shelter may not be welcome. Country wells are electric pumps. If the grid is down the farmer may not have water for their personnel use or for their cattle. How far is it to your bug out location? Can you walk, ride a bike, find gasoline? Having a backpack is a good idea but where are you going? Country houses and estates and mini farms are selling for several hundred thousand dollars. So where are you going to go? Friends and family or strangers?

Doug, these are all "THE" questions everyone needs to ask. More often than not, when I consult with clients on their bugout bags, they're unable to answer these questions. The good thing is, most people actually DO know that they have to have a plan for "where" and "how" they get to their Plan B destination, but don't know how to go about figuring that out. The topic is too much for me to go into here, but I think it will be a good topic for a future video, eh? If you have any specific questions or suggestions, feel free to add them here as well. Thanks for commenting Doug! Much appreciated!

I don't know about the identical gear idea especially because men and women have different needs, and they should personalize their gear to meet those specific needs. I understand the general food, water, comms, and things that everyone needs, but many people have much different needs than others.

Very true Wesman78! I think I point something like this out in the video, but you're right. Your loadout should absolutely be customized and not EVERYTHING has to be duplicated for sure. However, the most common problem I see is that there's one "prepper" in the house who has a "hobby bag" for themselves and they FEEL secure... but will find out the hard way that - even if your partner doesn't share your passion for prepping - you still need to provide for the family and that means doing the prepping FOR them for when they become an "instant convert" when a crisis hits. Thanks for sharing!
