Ustad. Is it permissible to cut the beard to fist length. Because I've seen you do it here if I'm not mistaken as it was definitely longer before and clearly looks trimmed and if it's permissible, I'd also like to do it to a fists length. I thought this was only permissible during Hajj per hadeeth or maybe the sahabi that done it, done it as a mistake or maybe his one was extremely long to belly or something as the prophets peace be upon hims hadeeths overweighs that hadeeth. And from what I've seen, no ones really said you can trim outside of hajj or even ever cut other than the ikhwanis etc. Maybe you done hajj? Please update or make a video about this because I'd like to know if I can do this. Barakallahu Feek. Update: I no longer desire to do this. It was just my nafs and desires. The only evidence I've seen is to leave the beard and nothing from the shariah saying the Prophet peace be upon him ever done this. Just one companion done it once at hajj. That's why a knowledge based video to this would have been beneficial. Wallahu A'aalam.

Yes, I agree his beard does seem to be shorter then before. However the action of cutting at a fist length is very clear to be permissible and Hadiths are mutawattir if I’m not mistaken. Many great sahabah would practice this. Those that hold the view to not cut the beard whatsoever do not reject the permissibility of having a beard at fist length.
