I'd lost a fair amount of weight on a ketogenic diet 3 years ago and stuck with it until the pandemic and some really hard life challenges I won't bore you with. I tried to get back into the Keto lifestyle, but found the diet restrictions were being poo poohed by my doctors, my friends, even my self. After all, when I slipped off keto eating, hadn't I gained back all my weight? I needed to stop with the negativity and pay attention what had worked for me and what had waylaid me. I also needed to try to tweak my weight loss program and I'm willing to try eating like a bear and IF.

IF and OMAD worked for me when nothing else did. I was 64 years old, lost 55 lbs, and am still dedicated to the keto lifestyle three years later. Amanda, your uplifting, encouraging posts have helped too. And your hair looks so healthy! ❤️

Well, this was an AWESOME video and one that really spoke to me. Not sure what I would do without your videos especially on the days I'm feeling defeated and wonder if I'll reach my goal. Thanks Amanda for your integration theory. I am of an all or none mindset. If I start out no sugar, no carbs, I can do it! I can’t do just a little bit. And I’ve also come to the conclusion that m brain works that way because my body / metabolism works that way too!

Having approached my health issues like a scientist all my life (I’m older than you) that’s not the magic. I still had to sift thru the bad science and hucksters (even with letters after their name ppl turn to huckstering). The FB group is H.U.G.E. and the IF of a tiny daily window is also. For old ladies anyway. The huge amt of food we can eat also (BAS I’m talking about) figures in heavily - I like to chew. Most keto has little chewing as fat & protein quickly goes down.

Most definitely!! Insulin overload is at the base of most chronic conditions, esp inflammation/autoimmune.
