3 Tips Badminton net shot tutorial, on how to get more spin on your shots. To get more spin is really important in badminton net shots, as the shuttle can be more tricky to return. Use these super cool 3 tips to get more spin and learn the bio-mechanics of the shuttle, which is very important in order for you to master the net shots with spin.😃
It can be very tricky to know what type of direction to hit and to add the spin, but let me try to walk you through this in this video. The same goes for all you left handed players, so the angles I show in the video, is the same as for left handed😎

Love your channel and jealous of your courts haha!! Could you please do a video on the attack drives? I can never figure out how to hit the attack drive without using a very big swing, especially on the forehand side

Hi from Durham, NC USA. I learned from Danish coaches and enjoy the technical exploration with the focus on a fun way to practice. Table tennis is very much about spin while in badminton kids need to understand pronation and footwork first but the gesture, under the shuttle and "comma" shape is very helpful. It fits in well as I try to help kids move form square stance and straight line swings to loose grip and rotation. Thanks for your great channel!

Great video! :) Aren't you spinning "with" the natural rotation of the shuttle at 3:07 though? From your point of view - with the tip of the shuttle coming towards you - the shuttle is rotating clockwise and with slicing from right to left, you add to the natural spin of the shuttlecock. At 3:28 you do the same on the backhand side (slicing clockwise from your point of view).
@BadmintonFamly
@BadmintonFamly 4 жыл бұрын
Uhhh it is so tricky this part, I can see you get confused, but I still think i´m right, When adding the spin from right to left i change the rotation from counter-clockwise to clockwise. Try taking a shuttle in your hand and rotate it around naturally and then take your racket and add the spin and see that your shuttle rotation will change 😆 Really tricky but what do all you rest say, am i right or wrong?

@@BadmintonFamly Really difficult to wrap my head around, but shouldn't an out to in shot from the forehand generate the same spin as an in to out on the backhand?

Re the shuttle rotation: your animation at 2.40 shows anti-clockwise spin viewed from the skirt end. That means the shuttle is spinning clockwise when viewed from the cork end. Since the cork end is what you see when the shuttle is coming towards you, a right to left slice adds spin in the same direction and a left to right slice is counter to the natural spin.

Don’t quite get the tip at 3:12: Spin away from natural rotation. The earlier diagram shows natural rotation to be counter clockwise when viewed from the rear of the shuttle. This means when the shuttle is approaching, it’s actually rotating clockwise, viewing from the front of the shuttle. I am confused because you advice to spin away, meaning I am to spin it clockwise. This clockwise refers from my point of the player. Wouldn’t that be actually spinning in the same direction as the natural rotation?
