Yeah, i prefer the way procreate does it, cos i can have a separate brush for colouring, so i dont have to keep changing the streamline.
@fierynachos96884 жыл бұрын
Actually there are two different things in procreate one is streamline and the other is called smoothing. Streamline helps with wobbly-ness and smoothing helps with the pressure changes looking more coherent. Streamline is in the “stroke path” setting and smoothing is in “Apple Pencil” (I’m going to assume it only works for the Apple Pencil-) however, yes what the video refers to as smoothing is called streamline in procreate (it’s so confusing Q_Q)

Quick tip for AutoDesk Sketchbook users: Apart from the Stroke stabilizer, which in the program is called predictive stroke, there is also a similar tool called steady stroke. I have used a non-screen and screen tablet with the program on windows and either way it works just as well. I actually worried bat one point that I couldn't use it just because of my tablet but it works well on any device.

To be honest it was a bit hard at first because I was trying by myself and learning "tips & bits" from friends and my younger art students. Later from KZbin where I did really started to see a faster progress in my digital skills. Have to say that your channel its truly one of my favorites. Your art is really great and very similar to what I want as a final result in my artwork. You don't pretend to know it all and your advice might be simple but truly useful. I don't recommend using the stabilization tool. Rather learn line work and stuff; it's not cheating but it will hold back your learning process.

i actually dont agree because a tablet is way smoother than paper so a stabilizer makes it feel more heavy and rough, just like paper.
