Depends on the length of the nail and the thickness needs to be at the apex, the tip and cuticle area can be thin

We don't really think so, efiles not only save you time but they save your body enabling you to continue your career long term

As a beginner you actually are able to pick up both pretty seamlessly. Seasoned techs tend to have trouble switching back and forth because they are used to one or the other. I would try both and see which you prefer we have great trial kits available on the website. Also take into consideration your environment some salons don't allow acrylic due to the smell so if that's your situation you can go gel.

We don't encourage cutting the cuticle, just pushing and a little maintenance with the efile
