I’m always an advocate for people learning how to actually skate well first, before jumping into aggressive. It not only makes your aggressive skating look better, but you’re also less likely to be hurt while skating-which brings me to my next suggestion. How about going over your take on learning to fall correctly? So many of us just learned to fall by, well... falling a lot. Was just wondering if you had tips for newbies that may be discouraged because they’re afraid to fall.

For real. I came back after a year or two. I used to fall all the time just practicing 180s over a something waist level. Back then I couldnt skate fakie too good, but Im way better now for some reason (i think i got smooth using some 80mm) so even 540 jumps feel natural.

This is such a key part of making skating look good. We can learn a lot from speed skating here, long, strong pushes. Good to see this covered!

Been skating for 10 years and I still suck at it. I'm wobbly, trip a lot, can't stop on my own without falling over backwards and tend to get real bad anxiety if I start going too fast. I hope this video will help lmao

Just did the fakie practice looking over one do two pushes and the other repeat. Mind blowing MIND BLOWING! I can literally fakie now both ways and now it's way more comfortable than it was before. The stretch videos and this video I cannot stop sending to people when they asked me how I'm progressing so fast.

I’m getting back into aggressive in-line skating after 20 years of not being on rollerblades when we didn’t have KZbin. I practiced similar drills back in the day! Thanks for making these videos!

Thank you! I have my first pair roces m12 still learning to perfect my stride before even thinking about tricks, I'm 31 so stretching and mobility are my priority. Very easy to pull muscles. You guys are awesome! 🤙😎

The basics are always a good idea to practice. I will definitely take the fakie drill when I do my rolling practices. I really need to get that head of mine looking over both shoulders in a more natural fashion.

Our streets are rough too. Maybe look up a basketball court or skate rink close by so you can enjoy skating. Rollerblading on rough surfaces isnt as much fun. Best of Luck

My Front crossovers are fine left and right.. But backwards faky😜 i only can skate leftside crossivers.. The backwards faky rightside crossovers are a mess.. Maybe you could dive into that in a detailed video.. 🤟 Grande mercy from germany
@bernsahr4 жыл бұрын
it is a good training to find a big place and skating fakie in a "8" so both sides are trained and you are doing fakie crossovers all the time. I nearly fall the first times but after the 4th or 5th round you will get better and better!

I inline skated a LOT when I was younger. I’m going to get me another pair of inlines. Do you think starting out with an aggressive skate to get used to blading again and then get into aggressive skating once I’m comfortable again? Or should I start with a different pair of skates and ease my way in? Thank you for these vids 🙂❤️

Depends what your goals are? If you are just wanting to roll around and have fun get some fitness ones. If your interested in learning tricks and pushing your limits then get some aggressive skates and discover the thrill of conquering your fears and pushing your limits. Best of Luck, Welcome back!

Just grab aggressive skates and ride flat for now. Ince you have your feet under noentheres no need to switch skates just start grinding

Yo I got a question.. I'm right foot dominate but I cant help but to turn to the left.. say when I try n 360 I'm more comfortable turning left.. kinda weird but is this a bad habit and should I try spinning to the right???
@acostablades81383 жыл бұрын
No i spin and grind the same way. It does make the spin a little longer than if you spun to the right but its all up to you. i didnt learn how to switch 3 until later. Then i realized it was easier and shorter then spinning to the left

Rollerblading is a term that refers to a company known as Rollerblade. It is the same thing as inline skating we just have identity issues lol
