Royale seems like a fakie grind to me..... that position is a lot like a good fakie lookback, but with the feet perpendicular

Mate, getting back to blading and only have a miniramp to practice on. Just been doing normal soul/mizou/pstar/acid and been scared to top because I thought I'd be falling face first (and I gave my thigh a deep muscle bruise missing an acid stall, the risk is real) keen to get back out their and try top souls when the rain and my injury heals. 🎉🎉

It’s a lot more simple than you think. Being in a hard boot means your toes fall asleep, weak toes lead to no arch

Had my first day on aggressive inlines a couple days ago. Got a makio so tried a frontside. Bashed my shin into the metal edge. It went Royale. Such a different mindset than skateboarding.. on a board I'm used to being able to bail on a trick and kick the board away. On blades you just gotta send it. Sweet vid! Definitely learning stuff I want to try when I get better control.

when i tried topsoul stance on flat ledge, I just cant bend the leg to be on frame. I have to get either really low (almost sitting down) to make it happen, but then my balance points are all wrong. Either it is ankle/hips flexibility issue, or my skates (USD AEON 60) frames are so high that no matter how much i bend the wheels are still on the ledge

Keep at it, the mobility of the ankle takes time. In all honesty it took me 2 summers to figure out top sides. Try stretching your ankles with a firm shoe on, hold stretches for 40 seconds 3 rounds per day. Best of luck!

Ordered some aggressive inline skates today and have been looking at beginner tips. Been a skateboarder for years, and decided to give this a try after learning some grinds on grind shoes. Looks really fun. Well made video!
