If you are going to the U.S. Open, the Masters or a local golf tournament you might be wondering what to wear to watch golf. This video provides three fashion tips for female golf spectators. You can be fashionable but keep in mind that it's a sporting event, country clubs have dress codes, you're going to be walking a lot and it's most likely going to be hot.
What Women Spectators Should Wear to a Golf Tournament
Unlike other sporting events, "watching" golf is not a sedentary spectator sport, to make sure your clothes are comfortable, fashionable and sporty consider these 3 tips:
1- Sneak it In - Comfortable shoes are recommended. There is a lot of walking when you are watching golf, think of comfort and consider sneakers.
2- Keep it Lite - Golf tournaments are usually in the summer when it's hot. The golf pros all wear cotton for a reason, consider wearing an all cotton polo shirt to be cool.
3- Skirt the Skirt - If you've ever seen a golf course, there are lots of hills. As a spectator you will be walking up and down those hills so you might not want to wear a skirt or dress, consider wearing shorts or capris.
