For keyword ranking, the best PPC is sponsored products keyword targeting and should be the main focus. Product targeting can help though and is a good way to get additional sales.

Why you only go with Exact match type, I am targeting both Exact and Expended, is it good or not?

I like exact since it will only target the ASINs I'm choosing. Expanded can be worth testing, but can also often start targeting a lot of products you might not want to. If you're using Expanded, keep a close eye on the targets and negative out any that you don't want so you're not wasting ad spend.

Do you think congruence in price is important? ie a good selling competitor at $50 vs your product at $100 would be non-congruent.

Typically I like to stay around a similar price point for Product Targeting. Conversion rate usually suffers if there's a wide price gap. Could be worth testing if it's a type of product where someone might prefer a more premium or better version.

Scott: After viewing this video several times, I checked 6 New Releases to get their ASIN 's. None of them listed the ASIN in the Product Details section. The only gave ISBN's. Can we use the ISBNs for our product targeting ads on Amazon? Please advise. Thanks very much. George Kirazian.

Hey, I've never run Amazon PPC for books before so I'm not sure if product targeting is an option for them. But the ISBN would be like the ASIN if the book doesn't have an ASIN. You can also find the number in the URL of the listing. I'd be interested to hear if it's able to work out.
