I usually place two strips of three targets vertically about 10 inch apart on the target bale. If I adjust my feet to engage the right set of targets, my accuracy changes when I twist ever so slightly to engage the left set of targets. Stance definitely effects drift and accuracy. I will now shift my stance/feet to adjust for each set of [vertical] targets.

I encountered exactly this today, shooting at offset 3 spots. The one to the left of the other two would be off by a half inch.

I give a slight pinch with pointer an thumb on bow hand. Kinda straightens up bow level an stops float

Robert when shooting, should my focus be on the pin or on the target. So many concepts. What do you recommend. Thanks

I have no issues with string path, but I have a problem releasing the arrow low. As hard as I try to tell myself not to hit the trigger, my mind just won't let it happen. Seems like some target panic to me.

I do all this and I still bob up and down and hold low on the x so aggrevating I don’t know what to do

There's a lot of areas you could look at for the potential to cause the bobbing. Draw length, loop length, improper draw motion, body tension(lack of, too much, or variation during shot), bow hand pressures, loop height, cam timing, stabilizer weighting, form while drawing or at full draw, collapsing during shot execution. It's hard to tell for sure without seeing you shoot. My guess is bow shoulder not being seated correctly or variance on pressures during your shot. Those are pretty common as well.

Is the video on patreon regarding stabilizer setup still available???
@rcrchery6 жыл бұрын
Yes it is. All of the content on my Patreon channel stays there after it's posted so that it can be viewed at any time by members, depending on the tier you're subscribed for and the tier the information was for. The stabilizer video was a Tier 1 video so people in Tier 1 and 2 both could watch it.

Another good video! Does anybody have an opinion on the Hoyt hyper edge? Looking into purchasing one as my first target bow. Currently shooting Pro Defiant. Thanks all
@rcrchery6 жыл бұрын
It'll be very similar to your Defiant with the cam system. Early versions had really bad nock travel so stay away from those. It's a good bow, I have some reviews on it on my channel here.

Where did you get the blue PerformX? Unless had it anodized?
@rcrchery6 жыл бұрын
It was a custom order through PSE's custom shop. It came out really nice looking and pops in the light outside.

I've got a suggestion for a video. I've seemed to hit a plateau with my 3 spot shooting. I'm consistently 290-292 every time I shoot. I feel like the first spot I aim and execute perfectly but the 2nd and 3rd spots I freeze up and try to aim for too long. I'm not sure how to make the 2nd and 3rd shot just like the 1st. I've shot mostly 3d so im used to shooting one arrow at a time.

Pretty cool you mention that, I've been thinking about doing a video series of working up the ways on scoring.
@sergeantdwz57836 жыл бұрын
@@rcrchery that would be awesome. It seems like I have hit a spot when shooting a vegas round that I just cant get over
