@@YA-vd9zo plus his style and high skill level allow him the comfortability to get away with it..his head movement, footwork are really good...plus his kicks are fast enough to use a hook kick as a jab...he usually keeps them at a kicking distance and makes them chase him,once they get frustrated they over reach and end up like Robert Whitaker...but it is a style thing,alot of karate based fighters have hands low(once they are high level enough) your partially right about td defense but it's also for balance on the in and out tempo of footwork..karate and taekwondo require more distance for techniques.thai styles however are more plotting,flat footed,hands high...for instance look at aldo or Shogun...plus try generating a side kick or hook kick with hands up,good luck😂

@@chadhumphries1445 Fighters do sometimes keep their hands lower than normal to avoid takedowns but that is usually accompanied by a wide, low stance. RPG 808 not wrong, any athletic trainer will tell you the core and the lower back need to be at an equilibrium.
@kavinpatel27484 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately that’s just not true. You can’t have trunk imbalances because the role of the role (in the context) is to main core stability. Crunching the core does train the muscles yes, but when not actives crunching, the “abs that are visible and trained by crunches” are actually inactive muscles, meaning they do not actively counteract anything. The true core is a stability muscle, not a pulling/pushing muscle so they do not cause imbalances. You might have weak back musculature but training your abs (both abdominals and true core muscles) cannot actually cause imbalances. Hope this is clear
@thelastglassbender91274 жыл бұрын
Your body is not capable of creating imbalance through exercise. Wth did you come up with that.
@theoteddy96654 жыл бұрын
abs cannot be imbalaced what the nonsence it is. abs arent 2 sparate muscles it works as one all the time.. men unfortunately keep ther fat lower in the belly, some of them can have visible upper part abs and not all the way down, but it doesnt mean theyre imbalanced... on the other way when you train abs and not the other side that may causd imbalance in your posture and the other side is ofcourse - your back...

Thanks Steve. Always refreshed by your attitude. My favorite tool for focus and speed is the old small bag of rice hanging on a string trick. Once it starts swinging it really forces anticipation and quickness. I use a old sock so small about fist size. Used to add BBs to toughen up the knuckles. I'd close my eyes then open them very much like the hat trick. This was years before the Star Wars trainer. Feel the force.
