Hey Glitch. I maybe said that already in another comment, but i really want to adress that again: Your tutorials are really helpful, for both beginners and even more advanced producers. Even though english is not my native language, i can understand you pretty good and your voice sounds relaxing to me. I really became a fan of yours in the last weeks and months. Whatever people will say in the comments (like seen in other videos of yours), keep up the good work. These people are just not worth beeing respected at all, most of them are just trying to be a troll und do have nothing to show at all. Thumbs up from germany to South Africa!

those people complaining on this channel, they have no clue. I believe he's the single best psytrance content creator on KZbin, end of story. He explains efficiently so you can understand with any level of expertise, he shows everything in detail, has a way to make it interesting every time, also a huge variety of stuff he covers, drops very frequently new videos... who else can say that? There is just no reason to complain here, if someone thinks still there is, then better pick another hobby. So far I've not seen anyone who contributes this much to the community of amateur producers in this genre for free, with such high quality content. "I have spoken..." ;)

@Dash Glitch great tutorial... though for my bassline I do several more things than what you did. For mine: 1. I use LFO Tool and sidechain 1 and tweak the release a tiny bit 2. I add Quadrafuzz on the default setting 3. I use R Bass on default setting 4. Fab Filter Pro 2 for cutting frequencies and 5. SSL Comp Stereo for Compression All of these make my bassline super strong and amazing sounding You can try this too... Hope this helps bruh BoooM

I'm also more interested how to make the synth stab. This tutorial is just one way of doing this. I already do this with custom multiband processing. I route bass to lo, mid, hi and sidechain with kick only specific bands. Lo band stronger sidechain, mid slight sidechain to taste and hi band of bass unprocessed. This gives a better control. I don't like LFOTool plugin for example.
@DashGlitch6 жыл бұрын
Yea, I only use that in extreme cases where I don't have exact control through the plugin itself, otherwise for just sidechain i use it a lot, ok I will do a tutorial on that synth stab sound soon :)

We still need a tutorial on impacts, please.
@SavePvP6 жыл бұрын
Neon P Lotus impacts? you could just bounce out one of your kicks and EQ cut the high frequencies with a low pass filter down to around 600-800hz then put a fairly wide reverb on it :)

Schremmer and what about synth impacts?
@SavePvP6 жыл бұрын
synth impacts?
@NeonPLotus6 жыл бұрын
Schremmer correct, an impact that is synth derived, which could be a chord or some such. You’ve heard them. How would you make one of those?

Do you have an example of a song with that? I'm kind of confused

Dash thank you so much !!! i have an idea which will help us deeply. could you realese a few solid kick samples for your patreon supporters?
@aleksandrsmasharo56285 жыл бұрын
I see what you are doing here, but I found out that there is better way. If you adjust phase position on bass wave and design your kick wave to match bassline wave you can achieve better effect.
@DashGlitch5 жыл бұрын
Ofcourse you can also play with delay time on ms if you have it in wave already, I’ve got a tutorial coming up on it 👌

when i see this envelope shaper every time i want to change from ableton to cubase! this is awesome and we cant find something in plugin for ableton. ok something similar yes but not this !
@Renato.P4 жыл бұрын
my exact same toughts... a lotta producer uses cubase because some of the plugins just not existing outside of it and those are outstanding ones. envelope shaper is one, quadrafuzz another, some of the audio editing features also... and for me it has a clean and organized look....the arrangement part and the mixer as well. ableton has good layout too(I use ableton) but I believe cubase has a better one, also channel EQ is very cool feature (and i hate EQ Eight). Logic is too cluttered for me in every view there is, i'm trying to get to like it and try to start to use, but somehow I always get bored fast and go back to Live... and then comes the price... Cubase is really pricy, at least where I live, maybe with edu discount, but i'm passed that phase already :)
