Hi Mark and Bethany. You have brought up "Missions" before are you Mormon?
@tj98015 жыл бұрын
So true! If Jesus is first in your life, then you won’t feel this pressure to either be everything to that person or expect that person to be everything you want him or her to be. No human is meant to bear the weight of that oppression or expectation. Only Jesus can. And if the relationship doesn’t work out, you won’t fall apart because Christ has remained number 1 in your life. What timeless wisdom you both share :)

I love so much that you listen to your wife when she speaks, that's so important to women, to have a Christian man who listens. I also noticed the way you softened while listening to her, showing that you really care about what she says. And that you two laugh together!! I love that 😊

Pray for me please, I left my abusive partner recently and now I'm struggling to support my two boys, 3 and 8 months old. If God is first in your life you really won’t be needy in a relationship because Gods love is more important than any other. I needed to hear that again.

This was solid you all 🤘🏾 ☀️hey so I gotta say it but it’s amazing how worldly couples sit and shade each other and say how vexatious they are but these two, you can hear the fruits of the spirit just pouring through. They didn’t shade one another. Kind. Patient. Respectful. I cannot wait to honor my wife this way. Much blessings you two I gotta enroll in the course soon my brother. For sure will be worth.

I look for the fruit of spirit, that’s the only true way to find out if the person is truly saved, just because going to church or Bible study or praying well doesn’t make a person saves God will not answer a fake prayer, people can do that to fool you just get a date.

I liked the part about putting Jesus first. Breakups have devastated me in the past... it makes me go back to the question: did I put Jesus first? Self confidence is huge. I pray to grow closer with the Lord because I think a lot of these issues would go away. It's important to get to the point that if this person I dated walked away, I'd be okay. Thanks for this video! Turtlenecks!! 😂😂

⭕️This is absolutely amazing ! I really appreciate your channel. Your wife is amazing ♥️. I was so lost most of my life what I want and how the relationship should look. I was lost in a walk with God in general. But he is so good, he was waiting for me patiently! I realised firstly we need to work on our relationship with God. He wants us to talk to him daily like with the friend. He always answers my prayers and gives me directions. Now I am not afraid of anything, being on my own or finding a husband.. as I trust in The Lord so much, he is so good. God bless you all ⭕️

I'm going through a tough breakup, but I'm thinking of pursuing a girl who has a closer relationship with the Lord than my ex. I'll see how it goes, but I think the point of a relationship is to lift each other in the Lord and serve Him together however that may look in the moment.

Additional info for the traits. 1. Be wary of those who follow the Lord so they may find a good spouse. The end goal of Christianity is refining yourself to be a vessel of the Lord, marriage being a bonus, not a requirement. 2. Yes, but I would reccomend that the couple has varying, yet similar interests. Like, one is more studious in the bible while the other is a prayer warrior. 3. Definitely, that prevents toxic relationships and shows a mature person ready to date.

Mormons are Christians they believe in Jesus Christ which is the same as what Christians believe.I used to go to other Christian churches and now I’m going to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (known as the Mormon church) The fundamental beliefs are the same that Christ died for our sins and we need to repent to be saved. The foundation of our beliefs is rooted in Christ Jesus. I would say remain friends with him and also you can just go to one church service to actually witness for yourself that the gospel of Christ is taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Best wishes :)

@@ruvimbomaranga7878 Mormons are not Christians because they use biblical terms but they have completely different definitions. They use our language but when you really scratch under the surface you find out that their words are contrary to the bible. They say they believe in Jesus Christ but is not the same as we Christians believe as you said because we believe that salvation is only through Jesus Christ while Mormons are preaching a works based salvation. They say for example that we could become gods if we live our life right, and that's not biblical. Jesus came to set us free. Jesus is the only one capable of making us righteous before God. If you read the bible you'll find out that there are many other things Mormons preach that are contrary to the christianism. That's it. God bless you!

I wish I had an advice for you but all I can say right now is that you should pray about it because you really need to be wise in this situation but don't worry, seek God and He'll show you the best way to deal with that. I'm gonna pray for you as well. God bless you sister 💖

Thank you for this video. I'm currently in a friendship relationship with a guy. He likes to see me all the time but I don't like that, I discussed with him that we don't need to see or talk every time to feel that we like each other. But, at the back of my mind I felt like maybe if I don't see him all the time when he wants to, he might think I don't like him. I'm relieved to know that I'm not wrong to want some time for myself alone.

@nicolerice31515 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking that that can come later... Or be learned and grow during marriage in a sense. Attractiveness matters to a point, but sexual chemistry I think is something the secular world likes to emphasize, but isn't really a factor.

Hi Mark I have a question. Knowing that love is a decision should our feelings for someone also be taken into consideration to make an informed decision to marry that person? I mean it won’t make sense to marry someone we don’t enjoy being with and marry them just because their a good Christian. I believe that a strong friendship can be a good foundation.
