Sounds like a police friendly fire incident. The police need to start questioning the other police. The US marshals tend to wear civilian clothes with a law-enforcement vest. Sounds like the local cops were not accustomed to working with US marshals and mistook them for the perpetrator during the heat of battle and murdered all three of them.

That's not a true statement. The police Officer's job is no-where as dangerous as the media would have you to believe. Or even as most police officers will say; keep your hands out of your pockets for officer's safety. The saying ; once you put on The Uniform, you have no guarantee you're going back home; is nonsense. Every police officer everyday knows he's going back home. A better question is; how many innocent lives will a police officer ruin that day for purposely and intentionally falsifying your police report ? That's The Better Question. There's a lot of CORRUPTION going on within The Police Force !
