Zip ties and staple is a clear winner for me

hot glue works, but it's much harder to do, and might be more expensive, and much less esthetic

Stapling the zip tie is perhaps easier if you happen to have a staple gun handy

Great ideas! Can even use old inner tubing cut to size to prevent metal wear chaffing of the cabling too, or a lil’ bit of caulking to cover the screw or staple.
