No, they actually go down and,with a lot more sales! The closer it gets to Christmas the more you’ll save on decorations and cards, more than over half off in price! And, after Christmas you’ll be able to save more! The only way things are marked up high around Christmas time is when, a store is going out of business and, they mark things up and, then, they have like a big going out of business sale, they especially do this during the last few weeks. You think your getting a big huge savings when, your only buying these items for normal price, they will charge you twice the price if they are closing out at Christmas time!

I'm team both lol. I used to never decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving but during covid I put my Christmas stuff up early as a morale boost. It was fun to enjoy it a little longer. So now I leave the fall stuff on the dining table, but decorate outside and put up our smaller Christmas trees. We still do our big real tree after Thanksgiving though.

I'm with you Mandy. Fall is my favorite time of year and while I absolutely LOVE Christmas, I like to enjoy each holiday without meshing it with another holiday. I am OK with craft stores putting out Christmas items early because those of us who craft need supplies early enough to make our creations in time for Christmas. But for goodness sakes, some stores have Christmas décor etc. out on Halloween.

My mom passed away 20 years ago this Thanksgiving. She was a wonderful loving mom, and loved to cook, decorate and host many holiday get togethers. Although Thanksgiving was a very difficult one for the first few years after she passed, I try to make it as special as possible now. I am also a fall decorator and love to keep my décor up from September through November 30. My mom always kept our Christmas decorations up till my birthday on January 25, so I do the same ! I keep my Christmas decorations up all December and January and then decorate a little for Valentine’s Day. Its Become a tradition and it brings me comfort that I’m just like my mom.❤

Great recipes of comfort today! Oh my that Southwest Shepherd's Pie! Absolutely on our meal rotation this weekend! I am team Thanksgiving, although because I am in Canada, it's a little but easier to let Thanksgiving shine on its own longer. Christmas gets a fair show, too and the decorations last well into January to make sure. Great video with my favourite family as always! Slow Down! I do put up my Christmas tree on the weekend following Thanksgiving. I don't go all out decorating, just set up and light the tree and then I decorate slowly. Two weeks before Christmas I'll fully decorate the tree and then I work from there. I often try recipes you share. Thank you for taking the time to video!

Thank goodness for a KZbinr who holds on to the Fall decor until Thanksgiving is over! I LOVE Christmas but I host Thanksgiving and it just seems like it would be weird to me to have a thanksgiving meal sitting around a Christmas tree. I love Thanksgiving as it’s own time.
